That's the thing. When the lagfest hits PvP, it's not path of darkness, lightning flood, or eruption that is tanking the servers. If you want to fix the lag - do something about the Zerg meta and stop nerfing skills that are already marginal performers that people don't even use them.

- Blazing Spear
- Consuming Darkness and its morphs
- Eruption
- Lightning Splash and its morphs
- Necrotic Orb and its morphs
- Path of Darkness and its morphs
- Radiant Destruction and its morphs
I'll bet 100,000 gold - and actually pay up if I'm wrong - that ZoS did nothing to address the extra benefits we gain from fast tick abilties. In particular, Valkyn Skoria procs (well, that is if the set wasn't broken), CP passives such as critical leach, the Burning Light passive Templars get with Aedric Spear abilities, camo hunter, etc.
And somehow, someway, I and every other Templar know that Radiant DEstruction will do less damage because that's just something you do with every patch, even when you claim to "fix" the ability.
Blazing Spear still ticks once per second, for 6 seconds. But the damage is doubled. Can anyone else test and verify that this skill just accidentally got buffed?

No. What they mean, is that the tooltip will not say 'deals 200 damage every 0,5s' it will now say 'deals 400 damage every 1s'
Nothing changed. it's still the same, just with 50% lower crit chance and 50% lower chance to proc burning light.
Same goes to all the other nerfed skills with this patch. it's horrible.

It's never ending, seriously. JUST REMOVE IT THEN! Stop nerfing it every patch or get rid of it.

These abilities have a very low chance to activate, which is why players relied on dots to activate them. By making dots hit less often, you are nerfing all of these great abilities.
Can you please release a statement acknowledging this issue? If you believe this is justified as you want us to proc less often, fine, just say it officially. But I believe the entire community wants you to double the proc chance of these abilities as the halving of dots reduced their chance to proc by half.
For example, putting siphoning attacks to a 20% chance to restore stamina instead of 10%, as dots like path of darkness hit 50% less times will keep the proc rate of siphoning attacks the same.

The refreshing path problem was a bug, that's why it got acknowledged. These other changes were intended, this is what Eric and his combat team wanted to happen. Most of us agree that the intent was poorly thought out and...well...dumb, but it's not Gina's place to come on and justify the combat dev's decisions.

Then she can at least relay the message to Eric or whoever is able to respond. Then the appropriate person can come to the forums and justify the nerf.
