Awesome! And why should I run the arena ever again? I have the title and polymorph. I lost a good amount of money, pots, soulgems and nerves to make it through there for no like no reward. I cant even sell what I got from there srsly when my sub expires im not gonna buy that dlc for sure and if they dont change anything in near future eso is done for me

Well what did you expect from the guys that gives you 10 fps bug for 2 months now and no one even bothered to try and fix it? From the guys that give you 999+ ping in Cyrodiil when there are 50 players around (thank god for that new server upgrades we had a couple of weeks a go! NOT)

Not to sound like a basher but really guys, the way you are conducting things in 2017 this game will close.

The whole bind on pickup issue ruined it for me, can't make gold doing content I paid for is bad
They don't even acknowledge the issue

I have no real issue with pop gear in the ic dungeons because there is some social aspect while doing it but malestorm is the worst thing they could do to an mmo. No social interaction while doing it and nothing after because you cant even trade the gear. So if you want the gear you are running it over and over for weeks while you have no contact to other players. If they at least made it for 2 people or tradeable gear there would be a reason to get me in there but like it is now its just *** and Im not going to pay for bs ...

I love the idea of Maelstrom Arena. I really enjoy it. It's fun, and it's a good feeling to clear it and keep working on improving. But the drops, this is ENOUGH ZoS. Seriously. I'm with @Nifty2g on this one. It's fine to have to ocassionally farm mats and such, but as the ONLY way for ingame income? While my arena costs are cheaper now due to gaining more experience in there, I'm still spending ~10k per run in repairs on top of potions and potions and potions. Give us SOME breathing room here with things to sell ffs.

Agree. It should to be like DSA drop system: master weapons are BoP, all other sets BoE. And no trash traits please. Have 3 characters in MSA weekly, hope to get someting useful, not a well-fitted Hunt

I must say I'm in agreement. Having everything drop from there be Bind on Pickup is just beyond ridiculous.

I don't mind Maelstrom Weapons being BoP, I am fine with the "great rewards" being BoP like Maelstrom/Master/Undaunted etc but the standard "set" gear like Overwhelming/Para Bellum etc should be BoE so we can sell it to make some gold. At least then we have a reason to run the content.

It's been a week since Orsinium release and I can safely say that vMA for me is now eight arenas of boring farming to get a roll at a Sharpened Inferno at the end of it all. A bit disappointing really.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Arena. On one hand it's nice challenging content that players can work on until the next DLC. On the other, I feel it causes me to alienate friends because it is going to take time for me to learn it and clear it. Currently after 2 hours I'm only on Arena 3. Also, I do everything in this game with my girlfriend and this is the first time we can't do something together, which sucks.

In regards to the massive amounts of RNG on items and said items being bound. Isn't that just the nature of B2P games? I come from WoW where I could run raids and build up reputation and collect tokens to turn in for the exact piece of gear I want. I figured ESO never adopted that stance because it's a B2P game.

Anyway, congrats to those of you who got on the leaderboard this week. Hopefully I'll join you in the weeks ahead!

I really hate bind on pickup system.
In 1.6 I did a lot of vdsa runs with my healer, I got all master weapons in every possible trait, except 1 i actually needed: master resto staff. Now I only have 2, 1 weighted and 1 defending (and I got the last one in 2.1). I had the same problem with collecting healer's set, but fortunately that set isn't BoP.
So no matter how hard you grind, rng might never give you the items you need. Bind on equip stuff can be sold or traded which is much more fair imo.
Now I dont want to grind this arena... I dont like the idea of solo arena, I dont have enough time to waste and I cannot even sell or trade the loot to get potions and items I need... No motivation at all.

Really annoying how everything is BoP. Maelstrom weapons, I understand.

But the other sets? Really?

DSA gear was BoE(besides master weapons)

What's the difference between the two? One is paid one is not

I understand that it makes them more money because it encourages more people to buy the DLC, but the fact that you lose gold from running Maelstrom Arena - even without buying pots and just using crappy ones - is ridiculous. Quest should give you a ton of gold

I'll continue to subscribe in the hopes that no one has to deal with this pathetic excuse for itemisation! Beyond a joke now! Hopefully settlement building doesn't distract me too much so I'll only do that on playthrough #2.
