Why aren't style materials worth 1 gold selling price?

I think there are some other items that you don't get at least one gold back from selling too.

Why is that?

There's a reason theyre called "Raw materials." You have to process them to get value from them.

Yeah, always vexed me too that there are some style materials or cooking ingredients that are zero value. Those should be at least worth 1 gold or something...

Also, with the justice system now in place, can we loose the zero value equipment one tends to find in the world and containers? Why not just make all the stuff flagged "stolen" instead...

In the real world, raw materials are very valuable. They are even traded in commodities and futures markets. Commodities include agricultural products such as wheat, coffee, cocoa, soybeans, and sugar as well as non-agricultural products such as precious metals, rubber, oil, etc. Just saying...

Yeah, you're right. Raw materials sell and are quite profitable.

But I'm talking about style materials, like the piece of material you use take your gear look like Altmer, Bosmer, Imperial, Khajiit, Argonian, Dunmer, Daedric..... etc, etc.

One can end up with stacks of 200 of these and they.......

Is that why they can be sold for 1 gold?

Would they be too easy money?
