I want to build a new character since DKS arent what they used to be. What you think is the best dps build so far for pve and/or pvp

    Dks are still DPS kings, nothing really changed here.

    Yea, PvE DPS, DKs still push out stupid good numbers. PvP they're alin to wet noodles now though. From what I hear though, all around beat class type are Magicka Nightblades
    Bobbity Boop, this game might become poop, but I'll still play because I'm just a pile of goop!

    Yeah for PvP it has to be the nightblade, in which ever form. I love my sorc, but they can see me comin lol

    Magicka Sorcerers are currently dominating sustained single target DPS in PvE.
    I wouldn't be able to comment on DPS in PvP since that is not a term you should use here.
    However Stamina NBs have some insane burst potential, more so than everyone else.
    If you're looking for a class/build that performs well in both group content, solo content and in PvP I would go Magicka Sorcerer. As mentioned they dominate single target DPS, they dominate the new solo arena, and they are pretty freaking strong in PvP.

    Zinaroth, did you mean a Tank build as Sorcerer (Magicka based)?

    Magicka NBs are really fun to play, especially with Shade aka troll shadow.

    That's a pvp skill though, what makes magicka NB so good in pve? Funnel health and ultimate generation? If you choose not to roll a resto staff you have no class damage shield to help mitigate boss attacks that will one shot you. I have both a v16 magicka Sorc and a v16magicka NB and the Sorc has higher spell damage and is less dangerous to run albeit less entertaining to play.
