    You are not alone.

    But ZOS has already answered questions regarding capes and the like. They will not be implemented because of clipping/quality issues.

    And I want players to stop posting silly threads like this and asking to add capes ,new classes, and weapons when the stuff that's already in the game is broken and seeing ZOS track record they would some how manage to break capes too.

    As negative as his views are, he is at least slightly correct on this 1. The reason: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/229603/i-want-cloaks-capes-and-rags-to-drape-on-my-character-and-the-ability-to-preview-weapons-already#latest is a thread that already exists and talks about this very thing, making this thread unnecessary.

    Oh so there worried about clipping yet nord heavy gauntlets look like robot hand. @ZOS you can atleast change the color scheme of the gauntlets from 1 solid color to 2 ton and maybe have the hand part look like leather like steel plate gauntlets in Skyrim.... just saying tired of looking at robot hands.....

    They originally had capes in the game, but they were eventually removed because of performance issues.

    No capes, no polearms. There's some legislation that was passed preventing ES from having them in 2003. A hallmark achievement by Congress. Way to get the job done, boys!
