Why are developers always misleading us with CG of supposed in-game content that is nowhere to be found in the actual game? I think it's about time we (at the very least) got a costume that resembles a shrouded robe/cloak, similar to that of the Dark Brotherhood's choice of style. Allow us to have a scarf-like attire that drapes across our face, obscuring our identity, but lifts in the wind when it blows. Do hats not exist in the ES universe? Can we get COOL casual-looking clothing that makes a player feel bad*ss to fight in? Or give us more rugged looks that resembles that of a lone wanderer. You'll already broke lore continuity... so what harm will it be for you'll to do it with clothing?
I'm tired of developers promising a revolutionary game experience, only to find out they neglected to mention what they left out. It's not rocket-science. There have been many predecessor MMO's that have shown what works and what doesn't. So why do I have to craft weapons nearly blind-folded, because someone thought it smart to not incorporate a viewing option? How hard is it to implement the same freaking preview feature that is used in the Crown Store when trying to purchase a costume or a horse? Did you not think that we would want to see the weapon, or clothing we're about to craft with our already limited resources? It's annoying to make a new weapon and discover that you liked the hilt that you could see, but that the darn blade is ugly or not what was expected.
Come on Zenimax... Is the population in the game not low enough without you'll playing 'Drop-ball'?
While you're at it ZOS, make it possible for players to save their current look as a costume, so that we can cosmetically overlap it over any new armor acquired. DC Universe Online did it. Or is that not a cool idea to you all? I like what ESO is so far, but it can be so much more.
Try not to take six years to get it right like DCUO did, and they still suck overall, with their generic approach to providing a superhero experience.
