Please add a guild bank daily withdrawal limiter - No more bank robbing

Please add a throttle system or limiter to guild banks so gm can set a daily number of withdrawals that a guild member may make daily. Tired of having our guild bank robbed and it's not fair to take access from our good members so a gm set daily limit is perfect.

It should be a bannable offense. This happened to this ones guild once and the problems created wrecked the guild.
ETA account ban is the only option a limiter will increase guild inventory management time.

The guild im in has been robbed twice. We now have a blood fued with the guild they created.

I would agree on the limiter, I just hope you don't get the response "l2 allow only certain members to withdraw"

I hate it, it took me a lot to earn the trust of the guild master and hate it when he has to cut everyone off to fix things because of low life activity

NO. Not until items can automatically stacked, right now fatstacks works great...and you want to break that.

Restrict access, make people put in a request for an item.

I give this two thumbs up, then I'm going to borrow someone else's thumbs and give them too.

I hate, hate, HATE, blocking access to all my guildies because 1 person can come along and wipe out everything they have donated.

Plus this is one more reason for players to have 5 trade guilds instead of a social guild. Why have be in a social guild when there's really nothing you can gain from it, whereas with 5 trade guilds, that's another 30 slots to get rich off of.

Please throw us social guild type of people some love ZOS.

Well buddy, he said a limiter set by GM, that way for guilds like yours, you wouldn't be affected. I would love auto stack btw

Btw at first I was like, "no way!" But I read the whole GM part and was like "Yes way!"

Thanks everyone. Everyone on PS4 NA knows I run Four Twenty and have held an Elden Root trader for all but one week since launch, and with that comes a lot of new comers and leavers who don't want to help cover the avg 3 million per week trader cost so instead they simply decide to rob the guild bank on the way out. The tool definitely needs to allow for a gm to manually set the withdrawal limit daily and this ability for a GM is absolutely necessary. Also there needs to be a "last online" tool so a gm can tell the date a member last logged in.

This is why I basically use my GB for personal storage. There is no real solution to this issue. If you had a daily limit, guildbank inventory management would become a real pain. If you leave the system open, it will always be exploited by selfish people.

You could expand on it so that a certain gm set role can bypass restrictions for item management and stacking.

Even so... how can zenimax determine what can be and cannot be withdrawn? If you limit it to say 20 withdrawals a day, a thief could still rob the bank of 20 valuable stacks/items and leave all the junk.

There's only two types of guildbanks in this game. A secure guildbank used as personal storage by one person or a small group of very close friends that fully trust each other. Or an open and unsecured guildbank full of junk that gets raided if anything of significant value is deposited.

20 is high. For most players 5 would suffice daily each. It would force users to be wiser in their choices to remove too.

I don't remember which one. During an ESO Live though, Gina mentioned they are working on a tabbed guild bank system? ETA? No idea, but it's in the works apparently.

You guys can't see that in the roster on console? On PC when you go to the roster it shows you when each person was last online.

And to me a tabbed guild bank system is a much better way of controlling guild bank access than a daily withdrawal limit. That way you can give people access to different tabs depending on how long they've been a member, and just generally how much you trust them. The valuable stuff goes in a tab that only the GM and/or officers have withdrawal access to, somewhat less valuable stuff that you still don't want to see cleaned out goes in a tab that long-term members have withdrawal access to, and the stuff that you really don't care about goes into a tab that everyone has full access to.

Of course, you could combine this with daily withdrawal limits as well, and have those limits set by the GM for each guild rank.

Well that sucks. On PC you just hover your cursor over someone in the guild roster and it shows you how long ago they were last online.

    I agree.

With my guild (and it's a small one), I always try to either replace what I took or deposit an item to make up for it, or, failing that, depositing some gold.

I hate to see a guild bank cleaned out!

Of course, I never take gold, only mats or the occasional item (I took a garnet ring last night 'cause I was too lazy to go look for one - oops :)).

This is why you can set privs for specific members. We've not been robbed and our guild has been here since launch. Doesn't mean it won't ever happen but if you pay attention to your members and only grant full access to the bank to those who have EARNED your trust you'll be a lot better off. Have enough people with access that can get things from the bank for the rest of your guildies so they have to request the items they want. This also works well and many trade guilds use this method.

We do the best we can with 500 coming and going members but having a layer of protection frees up a bit of monitoring time so a gm can actually play the game with members instead of being forced to monitor history logs steady :)

Seriously though. You can limit access to people you don't know. Other than that I think it is a risk that you have to determine on your own. I don't look for them or hope for them to put in more controls when access and stacking are broken as it is.

I'm not sure I see the difference between a GM deciding he can authorise a player he doesn't know to make unlimited withdrawals as existing and the GM deciding he doesn't need to limit the number of withdrawals that can be made daily by a player he doesn't know, as proposed. It doesn't matter how you set up the system if it's still down to the GM's discretion as to who he authorises to make withdrawals and on what basis then mistakes are going to be made.

The key is in the way many guilds recruit these days with the result that GMs haven't the first idea who they're dealing with. The guilds that don't have these problems are very likely to be the ones that still recruit only players that they know in real life or have adventured with and got to know in the game. Add into the mix the ability to join up to 5 guilds at a time (mainly for the sole purpose of being able to participate in the trading system) and it's no surprise that community spirit and guild loyalty have gone out of the window.

I agree. The guild leader can block bank access to anyone. I think as much of the problem as anything is people spam inviting everyone they meet to their guild without ever talking or even playing with them. I can't count the number of times i have been randomly invited to a guild. Guild bank security is in your hands and not in ZOS's. As for this being a bannable offense? Lol! How!?! You going to write that into the terms of service? Only you can prevent forest fires.

Perfect example of why GMs need these controls. You consider yourself sneaky. I and 498 others think you are shady. Do we know this until you rob us and leave? No. If we had these measures in place we could have monitored your withdrawals for a few days and limited your theft to 20 items instead of 500.

Can guild owner check the record who took the item?
I have never taken items from bank before.

Or maybe you can have bank list open to browse and need to apply to take.
The guild owner or high rank guild member can decide where this request is confirmed or not.

We can see who took, but a thief mass withdraws then exits guild. We can't as GM play the game if we have to babysit withdrawals and the system to make sure the good members aren't getting robbed.

A simple self-fix is to give access to the Guild Bank only to members you trust. Also keep valuables out of the Guild Bank that you don't want people taking so easily.
