I am stuck on the 1st puzzle and the Argonian Notebook near by is not helping much.
Is this correct from left to right standing BEHIND the altar where the old backpack is.

✭This quest was actually one of the most fun that I've done in a very long time. And yes, it took some thinking to figure it out, but as has been stated, they do give you the needed clue towards figuring it out.
Really well done ZoS! More quests that require you to think, please!I just wish that he had been able to see some Khajiit ghosts, since they've always been pretty big on that sort of thing.0 -

Text from the riddle
"Little moon, like a smile,
Set in a golden style.
Little moon, a gilded twin,
Adorned with a broad, wide grin.
Tall moon, proud moon,
Higher in the sky, it sets too soon.
Three moons in the night,
What an unusual sight.
Place the moons, per the rule,
Beside the small, tranquil pool.
Tall moon, smiling moon, and then gilded twin,
Set them right and the game you will win."
Looking at the tapestry above the small pool, the order for the second puzzle, left to right, is:short vase
tall vase
short vase
The 2 short vases look identical (hence, gilded twin), so listen to the feedback while placing them to get which one goes where...
