I was all like, "NO, YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT". I've never been surprised during a quest before. Not once. Was hankering for some more after that one, I can tell you. That's what Elder Scrolls is to me.
It's the environments. While the environments in the rest of ESO are good, Orsinium's are freaking phenomenal. The areas feel truly war torn, run down and fantastic. The music is deep and emotional. The NPC storylines...nimander99 wrote: »It's hard to explain, but there's just something about this zone that feels more like the original games.
Exactly. Wrothgar feels alive. Every other zone felt kind of... stale? Beautiful, but stale. NPCs didn't interact with one another and felt more like props. Here, they feel alive, like they belong to the world and have a part in it. Everything's better across the board, from the music, the details in the environments, the quests, the world bosses...Just feels more alive, and the quests are somewhat engaging. Changes to battle-levelling have been, I think, pretty good.
Oh.. and the CP-catchup system? Perfect.... as it should have been from the start.

Orsinium isnt a primarily PvP DLC.Its actually advertised as being pro-PvE.Im glad it had both though,so everyone can get in on the fun!

Obviously, they need to know about bugs and exploits, and suggestions for improvements are always welcome. But they need to know when they do a good job, too.
I, personally, have not been to wrothgar yet, but I do look forward to it based on what I've read in the patch notes and such. It sounds interesting.

I haven't even explored much but can say the zone is awesome. The regular run of the mill mobs maybe will give you a little challenge if you just simply don't pay attention. But the regular mobs aren't too much trouble at all. I hear the world bosses give an excellent challenge and are fun.
ZOS balanced the zone right.

Would have been nice if PvP players got the same treatment with IC... Seems like you guys gave up on that DLC half way through and said, "hey lets just allow pvp there and call it a PVP DLC"

Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who needs a bot to finish a game.
There is a simple explanation as why the content quality has been improved : rating has changed. It currently is M-Rated, it was way lower on release. They couldn't put things too shocking, violent, gore or sexually explicit on release. Now they can do whatever they want. Creativity freedom has great consequences, as we can see in this DLC.
