I am a hybrid player, mainly do PvE and PvP or just whatever I am in the mood for doing and I must admit for me personally at least.

Zeni, I am very impressed with the Orsinium DLC, very beautiful land, and omg the music is incredible, fell asleep still hearing it play in my mind.
I do not get the same immersion with the quests on ESO even from closed beta the way I did on the TeS games, cos I quite frankly do not care who lives or dies in the game, which for me personally is a shame as I enjoyed the immersion in that regard when I am in PvE mode, but the quests seem to resonate with me on Orsinium, so again kudos.

A massive thank you from myself to Zeni for creating an amazing DLC with loads of the things in it that I personally like, so massive kudos:}

And I am very happy with the bear mount and want the pet next, I got a soft spot for bears as is, so that endeared the DLC to me as well.

Enjoyed Maelstrom Arena, as well, and the battle music was fitting, it is easy though on normal, not tried vet version yet.

Sure I have other things to say about it, but nothing coming to mind right now.

So I shall say, great job again:}

Yeah so far it's awesome patch, I am usually really critical but they did good. The music is awesome, noticed a few new tracks in old areas too. Hardly any crashes or bugs for me so far.

Hehe same here matey, normally pretty critical myself, but to give credit where credit is due, they done a fantastic job.

We need more of this on the forums. We need to let the devs know what they're doing right. All they ever see and hear is "this is bad; nerf that" and that isn't really helpful. Obviously, they need to know about bugs and exploits, and suggestions for improvements are always welcome. But they need to know when they do a good job, too.

I, personally, have not been to wrothgar yet, but I do look forward to it based on what I've read in the patch notes and such. It sounds interesting.

You know what? I've only been to Orsinium briefly so far, but I was very impressed. Not only that, but aside from a couple of bugs and a few complaints (mostly coming out of ignorance) about the scaling, almost everything that I've been hearing from anyone who has gone into Orsinium has been overwhelmingly positive.

It may still be a little early to call it for sure, but I'm thinking this DLC is a major success.

I'm a Hybrid as well, Orsinium is quite impressive. If you haven't bought it yet it's worth it, far better than IC or craglorn, even combined.

Since I've only been playing a few months, I haven't spent money on any DLC yet. People complaining about IC have really kept me from seeing what it's all about. All the good reviews of Orsinium are making me excited to check it out when it comes to XB1.

Other than the strangely huge loading times in Cyrodiil, this patch is really good. Despite being primarily a PVP player, Orsinium has been awesome - beautiful, atmospheric, good sound track, interesting quests. I'm actually really enjoying PVE content

Changes to battle-levelling have been, I think, pretty good.

Oh.. and the CP-catchup system? Perfect.... as it should have been from the start.

I think it's superb, I really do.

I'm one of those players that likes questing anyway, so I always knew this DLC would be one I really wanted to play - and it's lived up to and exceeded my expectations. It's beautiful just to wander around, finally I am getting a good supply of VR15-16 mats (important to me as I craft), the music is very atmospheric and fits the zone perfectly.

Congratulations to ZOS for creating something that has made a lot of us really quite excited to play and explore - and can I just add, "more of this please"!

Aye, loving it so far, a little sad that some of the content still forces grouping, that'll suck if/when the zone empties out in a month or three, also I'm not quite getting the exp I was hoping for (Half the zone done and not even half way through VR15 from 80% into VR14, hopefully that'll sort itself out by the end of the journey though), but beyond that great main quest, beautiful music, awesome effects. It's nice.

There's a ton of unique art assets that went into Orsinium too, creatures and buildings you won't see anywhere else in the game really. Lots of time and effort went into this DLC and it seems like a really good representation for the level of quality we have come to expect from a TES game.

I definitely feel like they put their hearts into this. I hope they can turn around and give the base game some of the same love. It would great to see the level scaling come into play in other areas of the game giving players a reason to go back and revisit some of those lower level zones from earlier. Personally I would like a way to reset the main story line so I could do it again at a scaled veteran level for a fun challenge.

If this is the standard of things to come, then future of ESO is looking good. I just hope they put this much effort into their next PvP update. Then they'd have something truly spectacular for both sides.

My suggestion to you is to subscribe to ESO+ for a month. That way you get 1500 crowns, and you get a whole month to play around in Orsinium and see if you like it enough to buy it outright. Yeah...I watched my hubbie play it a bit last night (I've switched to XB, so couldn't play it on PC myself).

We both really liked what little we experienced in a few hours last night. I'm really looking forward to playing it when it comes out on XB. Only problem is, it comes out one week after FO4, so I'll probably be really into that and may not want to take a break to play Orsinium.

The world bosses - I LOVE LOVE LOVE these, please do not ever dumb them down and make them boring, as they stand now you actually need to use some skill and teamwork on most of them.

Public Dungeons - Could have been a little tougher honestly but overall great environments, puzzles were a bit too easy but eh.. not expecting a rubics cube in a dungeon.. I was showing off my new trophies in Glenumbra for hours.. lol Old Orsinium felt tougher than the dwemer one, as that one I just dashed thru like a madman smashing dwemer automaton solo the whole way.

Gathering - Definitely didn't disappoint but my one gripe here might be the ancestor silk, maybe I was just looking in the wrong place but I found only 1 node in about an hour, whereas ore and wood were pretty decent imo (about 50 of each)

Maelstrom Arena - I like a lot of this, but some parts I just hate..

The mechanics involved in Spiral Shadows where I have to press X over a grenade, aim it, then confirm it and wait for a throwing animation while I am being mowed down by a half dozen baddies is just.. argh!~! I took a break after that part.

Overall I am loving it though, and am eager for the rest of my friends to get their butts in there so I can run around lol'ing when they try to solo world bosses.

The rollback problem was a bummer but you know what - reported on day one, fixed on day one. Without needing a client update.

It's unfortunate that it was there at all but they got it fixed.

Yep, it's alright, as far as PvE goes. Not my cup of tea, but it's better than the rest of the PvE zones. I do enjoy farming tons of stuff to sell so i can gear my NB for PvP properly, so there's that, and acquisition of V16 mats, Praise the Lord, is much, much... less expensive.

That's good advice. I've been considering the sub for exactly that reason - try everything, buy what I love.
