Perhaps a re-vamp of the effects of different 1h weapons so that daggers did extra damage from stealth?I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Speely✭✭✭✭Why just a dagger? We need a single OH melee weapon/duelist type line! You could differentiate daggers through something similar to Twin Blade and Blunt/Heavy Weapons (not either passive copied, but one or even TWO passives that worked differently depending on weapon type.)
I have, since day one, wanted a weapon skill line that lets me hold JUST one weapon in one hand and be represented by a skill line (even with lower Armor and Weapon Damage) by increasing things like crit rating and/or mobility (just examples.)
Hell, make it include Spellsword options and increase both Weapon and Spell Damage by the same modest (OH&S) amounts and expand the passive(s) affecting multiple weapons differently to include a fourth option called "Spellsword." I think we are due for such a thing.

Stannum✭✭✭✭I have another idea - split 1h&shield into 2 skill lines
1h will have some skills\passives that works only w/o shield (and some that work both with and w\o shield ). (and some passives are bind to 1h type like twin blade and blunt in DW or heavy weapons in 2H)

✭✭✭If they go this route, I believe they should offer 1H line for Daggers, Axes, maces, and swords. Otherwise it doesn't matter to me. I'd like to see them fix the animations for 1h+Shield to be more logical with ax and mace. I'd also like them to give us a short spear option for that line.
Even more so I want to see a Polearm/Spear/Cudgel skill line. To be fair, the 2Hander skills fall into this realm roughly, but currently don't include a halberd, ranseur, longspear, cudgel etc which would have a different use and look really cool.
