Zorgon_The_Revenged✭✭✭✭✭only logged onto the PTS so far and my hirelings have sent me stuff like 1xraw material, 10xraw material and 1x full mat. Even had a mail with 1x full mat and 10xraw mats. (then again I had a kuta in a PTS hireling mail once......not sure I've got any on live).0 -
One would expect with hirelings at 3/3 would ALWAYS get more than the toons with a hireling at 1/3 or 2/3 - yet on several occasions I've seen my 1/3 and 2/3 toons getting more mats than the toons with hirelings at 3/3. The most disappointing thing concerning hireling is the Enchanter - at 3/3 you should never be getting a single rune yet it happens all to often.

✭✭✭✭I got 1 raw or refined mat on most of my hirelings, 10 raw ancestor silk on one clothier hireling (out of 4 top rank clothier hirelings).

Kozai✭✭✭I haven't seen it after the update, but I can say for reference before it a hireling always gave 3 pieces of raw material. The type of the material changed, of course, with your level in that craft.
Sounds like there is a lot more variability now?0 -

By responses of Epona222 (#7) and Kozai (#8) - looks like they are trying to render Hirelings as totally useless - a prelude to their eventual removal? I prefer Hirelings at 3/3 for scheduling purpose or more to the point I don't have to have a schedule as I don't have to be a clock-watcher from one day to the next to get my hireling mails.
