Best thing to do was to start the download before going to sleep that way when you woke up it was all patched and ready.

I'm back on Coaxial cable with 3mb/s, i switched back from fibre as it was very unstable and my ping was all over the place and there were many outages. I don't need fast downloads, i need steady comnection and the UK, being a decade behind the rest of the World doesn't have the best fibre's to begin with. My brother in my home country is rocking a whooping 600mb/s fibre which is steady and runs fine. I'm not even considering fibre until it becomes fully mainstream and stable enough here in the UK.

UK is ahead of a majority of the world with fibre, it's actually only a few countries that have the kind of connection your brother has.

Try living in North America where whole counties are still on satellite or dial up connections

I have a 100 MB download speed, but for some odd reason when downloading patches and what not it goes slow as HELL, applying the patch is another story, then it goes 90.

I can imagine, I've seen some of the prices they charge for internet, like holy hell, even mortgages don't cost as much. For that kind of price/speed ratio you could get a 2TB/s internet in the EU (if it was possible) for what they charge over there in the US. How and why do you people put up with that? Over here if you ring up your provider, say that you found a better deal elsewhere, they will be fighting tooth and nail to keep you and give you all kinds of offers and freebies. I was cheeky that way, i got a free refurbished Sky+ HD box by threatening to switch over to Virgin Media and free installation aswell.

2.71MB/s download, applying the patch is much faster around 80MB/s. It took me a little over half an hour to download the DLC.

By the way, this poll is a little hard to follow because there is a HUGE difference between kb (kilobits) and KB (kilobytes) and mb (megabits) MB (megabytes).
People need to make sure they actually type in the proper one.

Somehow patches usually average around 10.8-11 megaBytes per second which is around 88 megabit. It's absolutely gross fast for me. They are done in no time. I guess I am not the norm
