Okay, I will admit that I am still a tiny bit POed about the 1.7 block nerf but I have adapted as best I can, I am not a tank so blocking or rolling is how I can attempt to stay alive but I just hate how you can block at the perfect time and still take the same damage as if you where holding block for 10 seconds. with this concept when you block the first 0.7 seconds of your block have a chance to reduce both stamina depletion and damage by 50% after all other damage/block cost effects are calculated. Shield and board users can get passives to slightly extend this time and add things like returning damage or off balance. if you fail to reflex block you are unable to do so for 3 seconds (to avoid spammers with no skill). I feel that this system will improve tanks but not be OP as all classes can do it and it is entirely skill based so people who have good situational awareness and reflexes will benefit the most but in the end anyone can do it if they practice.
