WHy would you reset leaderboards?

Azura just reset, everyone fighting like crazy....Why on earth would you reset the boards? This makes no logical sense, especially without forewarning... Update doesn't have anything to do with PVP.

Markaeus✭✭Azura's is a 30 day campaign.. looking at the timer of remaining time left in the campaign it looks like it reset a day or two ago about now..
Campaign Duration Remaining: 27 days, 11h , 48 min
Also.. Current Emperor is Crown, an AD player who has been Emp for a lil over an hour.. which means he was crowned about 40 minutes BEFORE you said the campaign reset.. Nice try though.. Good attempt at trying to get the forums all Riled up with nonsense.

✭I thought they were just resetting the pve leader boards, with the 501 cap, but if they are resetting the pvp leaderboards it is because of the 501 cp changes, no other reason I can see.Edited by kevlarto_ESO on November 2, 2015 11:52AM0 -

Trueflame campaign ended yesterday morning. I am assuming Azura was the same. Are you saying that the boards just reset again since today's update/DLC? If so that truly sucks,.
