Deheart✭✭✭The fact that they had to basicly reprogram ESO to make it work on console, and they still cant get it right, is a major reason.
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.2 -

But they do have in-game VOIP don't they?
Voice chat doesn't even get monitored you can't even get banned for cusing someone out over it ps4 voice chat basically lets you say whatever u want to other people without any consequences i hear kids getting sex talked to on it and girls getting sexually harassed it's almost as bad as hell is it is just damn right gross hearing this crap i disable my voice chat then i can't communicate with others0 -

And you honestly think they monitor text chat as well? Anyone that gets in trouble for anything either does it when a mod or dev just happens to be present and see it but private messages? Group and guild chatting? No, the player is responsible for reporting such behavior more than anything. If someone is talking offensively it is your responsibility to report said player and then leave it up to whoever receives your complaint.
I understand your concerns though because it is true voice chat is completely unfiltered but it is also still a work in progress.No addons.

I agree this thread and 90% of the threads these last 2 days are pathetic beyond everything, but it doesn't reflect the player base. Hundreds of thousands of players are playing ESO, tens of thousands of them on a daily basis, and maybe 30 people post here on a regular basis.
This behaviour shows the true colours of the people posting, not of the playerbase.

It has improved a lot since I first bought it in June. The reliability and performance has improved greatly.
If I had text chat I really don't think I would use it. If it gets implemented, I hope it comes with a way to disable it. I don't want a wall of profanity scrolling down my 42" screen.
I've played this long without any map, crafting, quest, banking, guild store, etc... addons. I don't need nor want them. We'll never see them on a console anyway.
I would like to see crafting jewelry added. It seems like a hole in my crafting world.
I would like to see a better trade system, something global without the need to join a Guild.
I so want to love this game but Z makes that hard to do some....most times.PS4NA

Mostly because ZOS was trying to cater to the single player purest and also push the Elder Scrolls name into the realm of MMO's. In doing so it has forced ESO into an identity crisis. It wants to be a single player RPG, but still function as a challenging MMO that requires grouping.. That can be a VERY difficult thing for any development team to program around and juggle.
Maybe in time it will get better...
One very large step in the right direction to fix this was to cap CP. At least now the DEVs are able to program and adjust the game according to a controlled environment as far as stats go. Without a CP cap ZOS basically were trying to program around your standard player with Vet rank and a few CPs while also programing the same content for the grinders chasing the max CP dream.
ESO lost a lot of players over the broken CP system..
ESO is going to lose a lot of players over capping CP....
