so i played since 1.2 - 1.6 and now i came back... i only ever played nightblade (even when it sucked yes)..

Now i rolled a Nord cuz i like nords and i like EP..

Now i know nord sux for stamina dps, but i was wondering is it THAT MUCH of a difference between Nord and Redguard?
Will i be significantly weaker?

P.S. i have vr5 Bosmer nightblade my first char, but i hate bosmers and khajits...

For Stamina DPS the difference between Redguard and Nord is pretty huge. Redguards get better sustain for 2 reasons and also have better damage (from more stamina). Nords are viable but they don't hit the numbers in terms of damage that is possible for a Redguard. Without Champion Points you'll be disadvantaged compared to a Redguard but you'll probably survive for longer.

Nord would probably be the worst choice for NB, because non of the passives run parallel with NB's attacks/heals. I would use a race w/magic passives like breton, dunmer, or high elf. If your doing a stamina NB try khajiit or imperial.

Thanks guys but i know that much...also i said i hate cats and wood buggers...

What im interested is a comparison made a bit indepth...

Since i get 9%hp that means i can focus less on enchantment with hp and more on stamina...cuz ill hit health needed sooner,
so i am wondering can i reduce the disparity between Redguard and Nord in terms of stamina dps..

I really want my character to be what i want it to be ad i dont mind slight disatvantage as long as its SLIGHT! cuz i like pvp alot and since im doing a new character and starting game fresh i dont want to be making a character that will underperform.

Basically assuming all else is the same (gear, stats, skill, etc.) a Redguard will do more damage compared to a Nord. It's about a 6% to 11% average increase iirc.

Anyhow it really depends on what you care more about. Maximizing every bit of damage or being most happy with your characters race.

lets assume its 11%..that means that for every 100k dmg i do i get 11k "free dmg" on redguard....which is bassically 1-2 surprise attack...in other words its extremely small difference and i lose a lil bit of burst potential..

Thanks bro, thats what i needed :)

An imperial stamina nightblade is one of the strongest burst nb versiones who also have nice health. Redguard is also very nice.

Yea i know...but ill never buy imperial...spite...and really only redguard is a contender to my Nord...but ill stick with nord since i already got him to vr1 and alliance war assualt/support to 6...

Not to mention raw dmg increase is not that much

In pvp you'll run into issues w/dealing with other NB's because most of them run a magical NB and are cloaked the majority of the time, while you'll be running out of stamina and then you'll be attacked unable to cast an ability. For health regen and not looking like a cat go with imperial. Redguard would probably be my second last choice for NB because again no magic passives, but if your so gung-*** on either, go with Redguard because of the conditioning passive, atleast you'll have an ability with a NB that will match up with a passive.

Bro im not new to the game and i dont have trouble with ppl cloacking..its easy to counter...and i do it consistently...if you wanna know Sorcs are the problem (but not even that much)....

I asked for numbers, not game mechanics...i dont consider myself a great pvp'er but when i hear people crying about cloack and streaks i might change my opinion cuz those things are easy to counter/avoid...

Also as a full stamina build why would i need magicka passives???

Also imperials dont have health regen passive,,only max hp and hp on hit

I agree if you are just looking for PURE damage then DEFINITELY go redguard. Hitting 10, 200 from that extra stamina instead of 10, 100 is definitely game changing.

I don't play on the PC, thus don't have actual numbers to give, and just trying to help before your up to vet level and hate your build. By the way nord nightblade is in the top five of worst class/race combos on deltiasgaming.com

Thanks bro...let me offer oyu an advice...being worst doesent always mean its bad...just that there is beter options...and in this case..nord is as far as i see it MAXIMUM 15% dps less than redguard and other choices

in numbers thats preety insignificant...so i wont trade off my characters personalization for a few extra dps..

    but thanks

btw top 5 worst race/class is a made by Parfax...and he kinda takes worst things into consideration...

and i know Nord is the worst race for any dps build since it doesent have anything in main dps pools which is mag or stam...so essentially doesent bring anthing to the table in terms of dps.
