Dark Aether and Bone Shard = Willpower Items
Mark of the Legion and Planar Scraps = Endurance Items
Furthermore one of each respective family seems to drop the rings of the set and the other the necklace.
For example Dark Aether vaults have only contained contained necklaces for me, where Bone Shard vaults only dropped rings. The other items of the set seem to drop from either vault, and for the motifs it doesn't matter which vault you open at all.
I am basing this experience on around 100 vaults opened since IC launch.0 -

Apparently the Daedroth in the sewers almost never drop teeth. The ones upstairs in the city drop them fairly often. There's a farming run you can make with a small group (2-4 players) pretty easily that will get you about 10 teeth an hour. That's what I've done and have opened two vaults that way. Only 1 ring (sucky Arcane attribute) but a Sharpened Mace (woot!)

I only farm solo and in the two districts where the teeth drop. Not sure why my kills are barely dropping teeth or leaving lootable bodies. Is the time to kill a factor maybe?

Man, that sucks. If you think about it what I did is still ridiculous. 12+ hours of game play to get a measly two chances at a desirable item and I came up empty both time. But that's ESO for you. Where "play the way you like" really means "grind the way we dictate"
