So, I've seen a lot of arguments about which DPS, heals, or tank is better- ANY character can solo... but what works best for a group dynamic? Answer: A diverse group.
Hear me out: I know that some people argue that a Magicka Sorc offers more DPS than a Magicka NB (and vice versa when it comes to Stamina builds)- but, you really want BOTH in your group. Just look at the last passive of both classes! Nightblades offer "Hemorrhage" (increased critical strike damage to the whole group) while Sorcerers offer "Minor Prophecy" (increased spell crit to the whole group).
I know that you won't get as much DPS from a Stam Sorc as you would a Stam NB- but you get the benefit of their "off tank" from their pets and certain builds. Much like you won't get as much DPS from a Magicka NB as you would a Magicka Sorc- but you get the benefit of "off heals" from sap builds. I've seen all four classes take all four roles... and work well... so, it's not an argument of which class is better. ZoS has done a great job in diversifying the builds.
Side note: It seems that Templars and DKs should get some kind of "group dynamic" passive comparable to the Sorc and NB. Perhaps DKs could get "Minor Savagery" (increased weapon crit to the whole group) and Templars could get "minor ward" (increased spell resistance for the whole group). If they do have a group passive- please let me know. I might have missed it! I did miss it! Thanks guys!
Extra edit: So, this basically furthers my post. Try not to search ONLY for one certain class for your group. Diversify if possible. You'll reap benefits from all four class "group passives".
