NEW Racial specific questlines - an idea for ZOS devs

Hi ZOS devs,

I had an idea that it would be cool to create new racial specific questlines - for each race one, which would for example deal with racial history, racial specific lore, skills and areas. It would make the relationship between the player and his/her character even closer. It could for example include even timetravel to some racial specific events in history, which are important for each race, maybe also battles or spiritual events, which greatly contributed to the racial social development.
How cool it would be to explore the history or main events for my character`s ancestors?
For example for Khajiit it could be in Elsweyr, for Orcs in Orsinium (maybe some new free locations, provinces apart from the DLC), for Altmer Summerset Isle, etc...

It could be added as free content and could include racial specific homelands and quests. Or maybe even as a paid dlc, I would definitelly buy that one!

Yes please, but not free content.

    Each Paid DLC would add
    • Quest-Specific quest-lines
    • One Race-Specific Mount
    • At least one Race-Specific Pet
    • a small selection of race Specific hairstyles and adornments
    • Race Specific Character Creation Upgrades
      • Different Furstocks for Khajiit (digitigrade and plantigrade choices)
      • Different Scalekins for Argonian (digitigrade and plantigrade )
      • Wider variety of tusks for Orcs

I made a couple posts regarding these sorts of additions. Check out the following concept on the idea of a more robust character creation:

here is a more in-depth concept for a Khajiit update:

    and an Argonian update:

If you like any of them, please comment on them to keep the thread alive!

yes, I agree and I know some of your post, and would be more than happy to read and comments these these :)!

and yes, paid dlc would mean more investment into ZOS, which would motivate them to create even more content, I agree with your point.

I have made the point before that I have bought barely anything from the crown store... because I disagree with the Crown Store as a means to bring content to the game. Now, if every Crown Store item included quests that players could go on... I would totally buy every. single. thing. they released.

They don't even have to be long quests!

Like... you must deliver a wedding dress to a reluctant bride. When you arrive you discover that she is being forced to marry and doesn't love her soon-to-be husband and wants to be an adventurer. She runs away and you have to go find her and rescue her (obviously). You then have to decide to convince her to marry the man she doesn't love... or to convince her to run away to be an adventurer.

If you tell her to follow her heart and be an adventurer she tells you to keep the dress, as she will not need it.

If you tell her to get married, when you leave she takes her own life and her to-be husband tells you take the wedding dress as he cannot be reminded of his lost love.

Either way.... you get a wedding dress.

Do I want the wedding dress? Nope... not at all. Would I have bought the wedding dress if it had a quest like this associated with it? You bet your bippy I would have!

Would be nice but can't see it happening, they cant even find time to fix the racials of the under powered races let alone add content, mounts and quests.

Darn... they would have me paying them a LOT if they did this! Seeing how I am quest-addicted, and would likely buy loads of stuff just to do the questing...

But I would love the original idea of race-specific questlines even more! Since i adore it when games take difference in character into account... and I really wish ESO had more of that. Quests where one race gets to skip a step (like the intimidate/persuade thing, just automatic for that one race only) Or another quest where a certain race needs to take an extra step. And yes, even full quests available only to one race.
Perhaps while we're at it, have some gender specific options as well. And some class specific ones too!

All those would make ESO so much better for my enjoyment...

Yeh, all this different content for different people.... Not gonna happen.

Sales for the agonist DLC may be a bit slow also.

Well, ZOS should consider this idea, because, the more various content they introduce to the game, the more fun it will become!
