For Orsinium Imperial City got a few fixes for "ladder gankers" as well as making the daily quests concurrent. Your requests for a capturable district as well as gated access to IC across the board has not fallen on def ears, however there are no plans to change that at this time. Several things currently getting worked on for Campaign population/number of Campaigns offered needs to get finished before changing IC rules across the board. Other discussions are still on going regarding Town Capture in Cyrodiil, more objectives/flags for Cyrodiil, and improvements to what you can spend your AP on.
Dev Tracker, for a while, didn't function with posts Rich or I made on the forums unless we tagged Gina/Jess/Jason/Kai to flag them each individually and they're already hammered with their jobs so we didn't bother them constantly. This was recently fixed and we Devs can now Dev Track our posts again. No conspiracy or anything, just gremlins.
Regarding my personal play time, I am leveling up another character in DC, just not streaming it.

Serious question. Would you consider resigning?
This game needs help and I don't think many people have confidence in you, and your team anymore.

He seems like the only person who even cares about pvp/ alliance war on the dev team, and you want him to resign?
Absolutely. I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't serious. This game doesn't need someone who "cares", this game needs someone who's actually out playing PvP rather than leveling a DC toon.
This game needs someone who's willing to bridge the gap between the PvP and the Combat team. This game needs someone who would have fought to revert the lighting patch during the great 1.4 mass exodus. This game doesn't need someone who "cares", this game need someone who gets *** done. Someone who will explain to the combat team why certain PvP abilities (Prox Det specifically), need to be PvP only abilities so that they can serve their intended purpose and not be abused in PvE encounters.
But no... let's all keep blindly following and supporting these devs, it's worked out great haha.

IC is lacking in the PvP department, there are no objectives at all, and it was the one "PvP" based update. So where are the alliance war/PvP devs?

Did people provide this kind of feedback during the IC PTS? Because all I really saw was support of IC, how it's going to be so great, etc. If there was any feedback like the complaints I see nowadays I guess it got buried by other stuff.

When he was in the eso live talk, he gave 0 answers, seriously ZEROOOOO! He dodged everything and vanished.
Perphection wrote: »I'm blunt and don't see the point in beating around the bush.
Consider this.
When this game started there was no DSA, Sanctum, Dailies, there wasn't end game PvE. PvE had to be created over the course of the following year while they neglected PvP. PvP was the end game.
So, where was the PvP team then? I didn't see any updates, did you? If Wheeler and the PvP team don't address combat, they didn't have a hand in the PvP nerfs because "those are balance issues handled by the combat team", as Wheeler continually states. So what's been done?
So while yes, this game lost players due to the state the game was launched in, the lack of PvE to accommodate those not interested in PvP, the truth is this game lost most of it players because of the PvP.
Sure the base game is good, that's why some of us are still here. But honestly, it's time for some fresh blood. A team with a new vision, and the balls to make some changes. Because I highly doubt they're going to revert to the netcode that worked, because they'd rather prevent some people from cheating than have a flourishing game, and these updated lighting effects just look so damn good =|
I just think if people aren't doing their job or aren't doing a good job it's time to cut them loose.
Alright, now come defend your holy Devs my fearless White Knights!

It's not passing the buck if it's true.As Wheeler's explained before, he's in charge of the rules and systems for PvP. Actual abilities belong to Wrobel - doesn't matter where those abilities happen, whether it's in Cyrodiil or PvE spaces.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BrianWheeler
It would be awesome if he could give us some of his thoughts on the recent discussions that have taken place.
There has been some really constructive (if passionate) discussion recently with regard to balance, aoe caps, arena pvp etc and It would be fantastic to hear the relevant devs' points of view on these issues.
For example, the pvp Arena:
I have heard that the arena is not implemented on live because zos wants us to use Cyrodiil. Cyrodiil is bad at the moment for reasons discussed and so the result is that people want an arena.
Ultimately zos's goal is profit and repeatable Content (such as arena plus leagues and leaderboards) is a fantastic way to keep people interested and paying. Arguably this will generate more cash than continuing with the status quo.
This doesn't need rng loot and league tables would allow people to fight similarly - skilled players, thus providing a balanced experience for all. This would achieve the goal of catering to the many.
Cyrodiil performance
This tanked with the lighting patch. Whatever caused it, whatever was in that patch caused performance to be poor and the game has been frustrating ever since.
Please communicate with us. What caused this and what can be done to fix it?
mjspnrb18_ESO wrote: »@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BrianWheeler , thank you both for communicating with us, these are the sort of updates we need!
So for what is responsible Wheeler? For the campaign scoring? Almost nobody cares about it, because there is no rewards which are worthy. He was also responsible for the Forward camps and for the mercenariness but they are gone too.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »ZOS_BrianWheeler wrote: »AE caps and anything ability related are Wrobel and the combat gang. You know what ZoS Brian Wheeler, this game is the most mis-managed, most horribly programmed game I have ever EVER seen in my life. You and your team are so FN pathetic it has become funny. The only reason I continue to play is that there is no other MMORPG out there... and you and your little team of "programmers" know this, and continue to do nothing. Lets see, whats wrong with the game:
-Game Lockups after waiting 1 *** minute (which is also seriously messed up) during the loading screen.
- Random dismounts in PvP while riding your mount.. YAY
- NB's Ambushing right into a keep
-
These are just some of the things you and your band of "programmers" fail at fixing. How pathetic. There are so many things wrong with the game that it comes down to PURE NEGLIGENCE, and to be honest what you and your team fail to do, it should be considered a crime and there should be lawsuits flying.
And whats really even more pathetic and sad that this? The fact that when in the past you fixed some issues, NEW ISSUES POP UP... I don't even have words for how bad you and your team FAIL.
It is not but you cannot say either that white is black. I think @darock55 has a good point.
