Why @ZOS_BrianWheeler did you not convince them to keep IC gated? why does IC seem more for pve then for pvp I.E. no obgectives, not being gated, the horrible spawning in the districts, and it basically being a pve land with risk of being ganked while grinding stones? Is that really what the PVP team had envisioned for IC?

At a guess, the corporate lawyers looked at the of posts of people in the Beta, who were threatening to sue ZoS because of the gated access and said... "If we get involved in a lawsuit over this in every country, it will bankrupt not just the company, but the entire organization. Just give in to them and say you are bowing to the demands of the consumer."

http://www.twitch.tv/zos_brian_wheeler/profile
Twitch stream from the AvA lead dev.
Looks like last time on was September 19th. Seems like that was soon after PC IC launch, if I remember right. He was broadcasting music.
I kinda wish he would play and NOT have chat going, so he would not get flamed by the community and actually play the game.
Seems like he doesn't play anymore and only does music now. His twitch is http://www.twitch.tv/zimmrin/profile
Seems like he moved on from eso and is enjoying his music hobby streaming every night.(Not saying there's anything wrong with that.)
Wheeler is a good guy. I like him. He isn't the "PvP" dev though, only the Cyrodiil + IC dev which is a big difference. Everything we care about....class balance, combat mechanics, bugs etc lie in another department on the shoulders of a different person. This person has no forum account for good reason.

I certainly don't blame him for doing so. There's little he can say that will change people's opinion about him anyway.

I don't know, I've listened to him and he doesn't seem all that bad, just disconnected. I've been in TS with him before as well and my biggest takeaway was that he was often unaware of many things in the game that we take for the obvious. His appearance in these forums would likely be greeted with far more optimism than vitriol. I think his like many of the ZoS team's greatest lack is in meaningful communication with their players. I like Gina and Jessica and all but they are not devs and I don't even know if they even play the game.

For Orsineum Imperial City got a few fixes for "ladder gankers" as well as making the daily quests concurrent. Your requests for a capturable district as well as gated access to IC across the board has not fallen on def ears, however there are no plans to change that at this time. Several things currently getting worked on for Campaign population/number of Campaigns offered needs to get finished before changing IC rules across the board. Other discussions are still on going regarding Town Capture in Cyrodiil, more objectives/flags for Cyrodiil, and improvements to what you can spend your AP on.
Dev Tracker, for a while, didn't function with posts Rich or I made on the forums unless we tagged Gina/Jess/Jason/Kai to flag them each individually and they're already hammered with their jobs so we didn't bother them constantly. This was recently fixed and we Devs can now Dev Track our posts again. No conspiracy or anything, just gremlins.
Regarding my personal play time, I am leveling up another character in DC, just not streaming it.

This will result in players having AD/DC/EP all assignable to the same campaign, however getting population together is the more important aspect get the critical mass needed for Cyrodiil. Ditching the alliance restriction and allowing players to reassign themselves (with cooldown) in combination with getting several abilities reworked to make less physics calls will allow us to condense Campaigns.

I would like to say thank you so much Brian. This is the communication we want from you guys. Also, for future reference it will be a good idea to look at some of the polls in the forum before you implement drastic changes like AOE caps. It was mentioned in the We Are Eso podcast last saturday.
Looking forward to these pvp changes
