Bound armor vs Inner Light

So I just got Bound armor on my sorcerer DPS build last night and slotted it instead of Inner Light. It seemed to me that when I used Boundless storm I got more of a speed boost with it then with Inner light. Am I imagining that? Or does magic and use of a sorcerer skill effect the effectiveness?

You are imagining it.
But bound armor is indeed bettrr if you are using spell crit potions.

Are you talking about boundless storm? That does increase speed 40% while doing x damage from melee range once activated. bound armor just increases armor/spell resistance the morph bound aegis gives 8% Mana as well. I run mage light and bound aegis on my sorcerer for the extra Mana it gives and just use spell power pots.

I prefer the additional crit to the slight percentage change, tri pots are super helpful

Yes I am referring to Boundless Storm. I know it increases speed by 40% when I got bound armor I slotted it instead of inner light and seemed able to keep up with the mounted group better. I have no empirical data other then they where right there instead of 20 feet in front of me like they had been before. It could of been they lost the rapid maneuver guy I don't know but happened for the majority of the time. I also noticed that rapid maneuver and boundless storm don't seem to stack in fact it seemed that when hit with rapid Maneuver with Boundless storm up I seemed to slow down.
