PVP is so broken - unbelievable

Let me start off by saying I have 3 V16 characters, and I am so overly fed up with this game. I'll make this short and sweet.

Let's talk about the patch. I actually have grown to accommodate the damage reduction. Though I think 50% is still too much, it does help provide more balance. However, damage reduction + battle level has resulted in an environment that gives an enormous advantage to low vet levels. Now before you hit me with the, "stop whining and get better" banter, please understand that I'm one of the top duelers on PS4, and this is an opinion shared by many of us.

Can you tell me one other game that is set up like this? ONE. Lower levels are 10x harder to kill, even if they aren't healers? I can tell you when I was a vet 5 getting completely stomped on in Cyrodiil, my reaction wasn't to go complain to the forums. My reaction was to level my character, as I knew I couldn't compete at such a disadvantage. It's like anything in life. Your success should reflect your knowledge/work ethic/competence, not whining when something doesn't go your way.

I typically play solo on my night blade, and can tell you I 100% target V16's over anyone else, because I know they are more vulnerable with no battle level. How can I 3 shot a V16, yet take 30 seconds + to kill a V5 night blade, simply because of their health? "Congratulations, you've reached V16, you are now the most vulnerable player in Cyrodiil."

As a v16 NB with 250 CP and end game gear, I SHOULD be destroying lower vet levels. However, you have created an environment that instils false hope. Their play style will suffer to no end when they reach end game, and have 10k less health in cyrodiil. Man, this game has become such a joke.

Not to mention the bugs... oh man. Half the time I'm in combat I can't use ANY of my abilities, glitch dodge rolling all over the place, can almost never mount, long load screens, can't open doors, the INSANE lag in big PVP servers.. its caused myself, and several other excellent eso players to drop the game.

I get it, I get the business approach. You're trying to motivate "younger players" to feel the PVP experience without getting two shotted, since they represent a large portion of your new revenue as a business. However, putting as big of a blanket over these "new players" as you have has only frustrated the hell out of players who have already bought the costumes, mounts, DLC, etc.

As a business, you should focus on satisfying existing customers generating bulk revenue more than potential revenue coming from new players. For the first time ever, I feel punished to have reached top level.

I guess the morale of the story here, and the main point is to highlight how broken the battle level concept is (for so many reasons). Am I missing something? Can someone explain this to me? I'm happy to debate this all day, because this isn't an opinion I just worked up, it's been discussed for weeks amongst different PS4 parties. How is this not being addressed?

End rant.

Battle leveling is a bit meh, but in the right hands, namely alts of seasoned veterans with decent chunk of CP and good knowledge of all game mechanics can be deadly. Perfect example was last night, i was dueling a mate of mine on his vr5 NB tank. Result? Fight that lasted 15 minutes and i just gave up and let him kill me, it wouldn't have ended otherwise.
I am by no means a noob or a new player, been playing hardcore pvp since beta (PC) and i know how to pvp, duel and 1 vs x. I can destroy V16's in seconds, but come a v5 battleleveled NB tank or magblade, or even worse - DK - i can't do jack ***, he had near 40k hp, 1.8k hp regen and he could just light attack and bash me and reflect projectiles back at me (sword and board skill) because he knew i was throwing everything at him and it felt like wet noodle fishslap to him.

I have a v11 stamblade and i literally hunt V16's because they are the easiest kills. A light armour with 18-20k hp is 2 snipes and dead, they're easy to kill, but I'm not. Had a group chasing me and trying to kill me like in a Benny Hill show and i often can get away due to large amount of hp/magicka, as i can cloak like a magblade can, being a stamblade and have the HP of a fully geared v16 hp specced tank just wearing v10 shield breaker and hundings rage blue crafted crap. I feel i have a fake sense of power, when in reality my char would die as soon as a vr16 would look at him with a stern gaze. I hate how it works, but i have to use it if i want to pvp.

Though looking at Orisinium notes that will change ( I hope) and our battleleveled stats will scale off our existing build, just add some values on top of ours to make it more v14'ish, but this mini-emperor crap has to stop.

And you can say what you want, a professional pvp player with a battleleveled low rank char can be just as efficient, if not even moreso than a v16, just have to understand how battleleveling fully works, and it's not rocket science.

People will respond now that they can kill battle leveled players easy, no - they can kill noobs easy, they would be easy to kill whether they were vr2 or vr55 cuz they're noobs. Try and have a duel with a experienced battleleveled player and then come back and report the results.

A V16 shouldn't automatically be able to beat a V5. It should depend in part on their relative skill, should it not?

It's a double edge sword honestly. If you get rid of battle level then no one will PVP once they hit VR 1 (since you have Non-Vet campaign for 10-50). When we didn't have Battle Level it wasn't easy or real fun to be in PVP when you weren't at least VR 10. I have 4 VR 16's and another who is VR 5, most of them I PVP with once they hit VR1 so I know what it's like to get rolled over simply because you're not leveled. Lucky for me I have a V16 to jump to if it's get too frustrating getting steam rolled but what about those who don't? The VR zones are a bore (not looking forward to doing it a 5th and 6th time) but with Battle Level it makes Pvping as a low vet rank fun again.

I do get the frustration though because I was on my level 28 DK and I was in regular PVP and got attacked by a V16 NB near Glademist. I knew I was in trouble so I used the area to my advantage, I slowly dodge rolled and used Reflect to lure him into a resource, which somehow worked, and I ended up beating him (with the help of 8 NPCs). I could only imagine his rage as, technically, a level 28 beat a V16 but at the same time he would have been smart not to follow me and cloak away until I left the resource... then jump me. I could say I also beat another V 16 Sorc on my V 5 DK the other day as well but honestly I only hit him with one attack, which was Dragon Leap... but I did it over the grate at the top of the keep... so he fell to the front door below and died from fall damage and NPCs. No worries... his guild mates rolled us, lol.

Maybe it would have been better if they had more specialty campaigns with no battle level. For example, as campaign that only allows VR ranks 1-5, another 6-10. But after Orsinium the veteran ranks will be gone, apparently, so I honestly don't think you have to wait long for this Battle level thing to end.

If they both are even close to the same skill level...can you justify how/why a v5 should stand a chance?
