IMHO character names should be visable not console ID/Tag.
Just like no txt chat I feel this is a huge mistake on ZOS's part that should be changed.

✭✭✭✭✭Well on 11/2 on PC character names will not appear if using the game-pad due to the UI so...it now seems ZOS intends it as this way.
I think many would like to see a character name on the screen if I look at someone but then grouping/guild...what do you do.

✭Character names were absent in the console beta as well. It was one of the complaints, like the absent text chat. Just another example of certain people in charge thinking all console gamers are too "special" to handle much beyond just pressing a few buttons. No options for those that wanted a more advanced experience.
Seeing two different names for people in game and on the console friends list must be too confusing I guess.PS4 Pro NA1 -
