✭✭You seem to have so many reasons for not wanting to play this game,..why try then? It is as varied as those who play it.If you are looking for something similar to something else,go play something else.If you want the ultimately unlike anything else experience,you're not going to find.it. That's a Don Quixote quest,..neverending.He never found his perfection,and neither will you.

✭Skyrim on pc needed tweaking to get over the clunky feeling. You had to disable v sync and mouse acceleration and it then felt good, aside from the odd object that would smack you in the head due to the physics freaking out cos you disabled v sync.
As for eso? Well the pvp is fun once you've been at it for a while, it's the only thing keeping me in the game. It has massive potential for improvement but the basic combat framework is like no other game out there. Sometimes it feels more like a fighting game or brawler due to the combat mechanics being so dynamic. If they would only give pvp the love that it deserved. If the game dies it will be because of poor maintenance not poor design imo.PC | EU1 -
temjiu✭✭✭✭I played and loved Morrowind. wasn't a huge fan of Oblivion at all, and didn't really play Skyrim (still had PTSD flashbacks to Oblivion). But I play and enjoy ESO.
class development isn't as free-bird as Oblivion, and levels mean things. you walk into a lvl 40 are as a lvl 5 and you get one shot. it has linear elements like morrowind did.
With the addition of the Thieves guild, there's now some real solid guild stuff to do, and the play from 1-50 is very involved and enjoyable. VR levels things get a bit whonky, But they're changing things with every major patch, so who knows what it will be like in a year?
If you got the game, and have the time, I think it's worth it. I bought it, played for 4 months or so on release, left, and recently game back with the promise of Orsinium on the horizon. that, and im bored with my other games atm

Going back to explore the Wailing Prison with my latest who is level 3 so far, and I've only had about 2-3 sessions with her.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0
They aren't in the game yet. Neither is baby netch. My crowns are waiting, Zenimax, gimme a pet goat!
