Just a thought, and I understand the restrictions given that most folks don't have keyboards for their console controllers...BUT
It seems the only thing that I find kind of frustrating is with how difficult it is to communicate with members of my guilds. I love this game, and have put some serious hours into it. Now with VR16 a few slivers of exp away I am getting to a place that I need consistent and reliable groups.
The group finder tool has a lot of issues. It's good to have a queue system, but for things like Craglorn delves or random encounters it's just not viable.
Easy fix:
Utilize guilds more effectively, which are ultimately meant to allow folks to find other like minded people to group with or party with.
Give us a way, or an option for guild leaders to give to some members, to log in and post a up a bulletin such as: "Hey guys, will be around most of the evening, looking to group up for some Craglorn questing or the daily dungeons. Message for info." Let the bulletin expire automatically in 24 hours or so, but that gives us a way to actually communicate with folks in our guild and gives you something to check when just logging in to see if there's anyone free to group with..
Going through 1 by 1 to message 100+ people to see if they want to group is not worth the trouble, and leaves guilds to have to use external resources to communicate (website forums, IM services, and etc..) Wouldn't it make sense to have the interface for something like this available in the game's UI?
Just a thought and happy hunting folks!
