Console UI- Bulletin board available in guild menu to open communication

Just a thought, and I understand the restrictions given that most folks don't have keyboards for their console controllers...BUT

It seems the only thing that I find kind of frustrating is with how difficult it is to communicate with members of my guilds. I love this game, and have put some serious hours into it. Now with VR16 a few slivers of exp away I am getting to a place that I need consistent and reliable groups.

The group finder tool has a lot of issues. It's good to have a queue system, but for things like Craglorn delves or random encounters it's just not viable.

Easy fix:

Utilize guilds more effectively, which are ultimately meant to allow folks to find other like minded people to group with or party with.
Give us a way, or an option for guild leaders to give to some members, to log in and post a up a bulletin such as: "Hey guys, will be around most of the evening, looking to group up for some Craglorn questing or the daily dungeons. Message for info." Let the bulletin expire automatically in 24 hours or so, but that gives us a way to actually communicate with folks in our guild and gives you something to check when just logging in to see if there's anyone free to group with..

Going through 1 by 1 to message 100+ people to see if they want to group is not worth the trouble, and leaves guilds to have to use external resources to communicate (website forums, IM services, and etc..) Wouldn't it make sense to have the interface for something like this available in the game's UI?

Just a thought and happy hunting folks! :D

Does your guild not utilize the message of the day feature? Officers and GL have access unless changes

You can literally change it many times a day and it alerts all guild members each time it's changed

Yeah they do, but that's not what I'm referring too. This would be a tool that pretty much everyone could have access too, and shouldn't spam everyone in the guild when there is an update.. just something that you can go check to see if anyone needs a dps or a heals or whatever when you are looking for something to do.. I have me guilds with 400+ people that are just doing their on thing.. on PC you'd just type in guild chat, but consoles simply don't have anything except voice chat which no one uses.

    ....like player notes...

Maybe talk to your GL there are options that exists already that should offer some of what you desire but each guild manages itself differently

I like your thinking. Your saying to create a bulletin board section to the guild right? I think that could be a great alternative that many players could enjoy. The guild history can already hold a lot of info so they could just add at bulletin section where anyone could post a need. You could post you are looking for a group for the next two hours, or you can post you are looking to trade. This could be used to help a guild organize events. I like it and think ZOS should consider adding something like this on console since there is not text chat.
