New Hack On ESO?.

In PvP im getting a black screen and loose complete control of my game while eso is running. This is only happening when i duel certain people.

I can remember another game i used to play that people would flash you in and this is very similar. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT HACK.

Anyone else having this happen to them? Its happend 2 times today in cyrodil. I hope this isnt a new flash attack that will be around for months on end...........

Fresh hard drive rewrite, and clean install. No, Im probably old enough to be your father and played many more games than you. What i experienced was an attack through the game client. Thats why im asking if anyone else has had this happen to them . Understand?

Did you send a report? That's what you do in these situations. I have never experienced the issue you are having nor heard of anyone else having it happen to them. So I cannot offer any other insight on the matter.

I agree, it's completely useless to ask for support here in the forums. You either get moderated or flamed. I suggest seeking the delinquents out and try to repeat that issue. Then immediately send a bug-report or help request ticket as soon thereafter as possible. Then start patience meditation, since it will take anywhere between a couple weeks and one and a half years until it gets fixed.

Basically, your screen turns black, you can still hear the music, you can hear the guy killing you, it last about 10 seconds, then you can res at you keep as your screen goes back to normal...............

I dont have a recorder for this game. What happend to me is something that ive experienced before in other games. Its probably a plug in for a loader. This is pretty shameless.

Just the fact that you did a fresh hard drive rewrite and a clean install suggests a lot more to this story than is being revealed.

While it is technically possible, given some very narrow instance of an uncertain specific problem with the ESO server, it is very unlikely that a malicious remote client can cause you to have a BLACK SCREEN and lose complete control of your game. Lag and latency can cause loss of control, but getting a black screen is a pretty specific symptom.

I suggest the possibility of an issue with your local system, and this really should be ruled out completely before pointing fingers in the direction of a remote hack. What I am thinking is more along the lines of hardware failure or software/driver issues locally. And... yes... this could happen while in ESO PVP, and depending on what is happening in PVP, with certain (or specific) characters on the screen.

I did a fresh install and rewrite to see if load screens and latency/ fps issues would dissapear. I have nothing to hide. The game performance is very *** for a lot of poeple. And, it fixed nothing. As i described it earler to another poster,

So again, im asking if anyone else has had this happen to them. This isnt some brand new hack that has never been used in a game before if thats what it is. I can point you to loader plugins for REDVEX that does teh same thing for a different game. Im about 99% sure their is a loader designed to abuse this game with.

SO AGAIN, HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIS SIMILAR HAPPEN TO THEM?

Never seen anything like this, but it definitely sounds like a driver issue or somesuch rather than a hack. I would recommend contacting support in either case.

I thought game hacks were designed to boost the hackers' actions, not to disable their opponents' computers.

"This is only happening when i duel certain people."

Just a thought: Don't duel those particular people.

That suggests to me that you have performance problems with the overall game rather than just a single issue that only arises when you duel certain people.

Hope you get this figured out mate. More I read the more it sounds like some performance issues on your end though. Not saying a hack is impossible, but I've never seen this particular issue not be technical problem related.

This has never happened to me before. Today is he very first time i have ever experienced this issue with ESO. We did not have a patch today, or yesterday, or the day before that, and the last server maintenance was on Tuesday. So today, is the VERY FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER WITNESSED THIS.

In group duels, the issue was non existent. The 2 episodes that this happened in was 1 v 1 duels. And they even hovered my body, I assume, waiting to see how i would react to the situation. They didnt bother to stealth or hide, they just stood over my body. Like they were taunting me...

Had this happen twice yesterday and also last week. I run dual monitors, both screens go black and eventually the one ESO isn't running on goes back to normal but the other one stays black. Can hear sounds and all. Got an error that there's something up with my video card driver, so I will be doing that later when I get home.

This is confusing, as you said before your screen was black while they killed you and then cleared up when you rezed at a keep. How could you see what they were doing if the screen was black? Also, if you could see them standing around you hovering over your body, that by itself isn't exactly strange behavior. I see people do that all the time to me.

That being said, whatever the issue is I hope you get a fix for it.

This sounds pretty strange, but assuming it's a hack is jumping to conclusions.

When your screen goes black, can you still see your mouse cursor? Are you able alt+tab out of the game and see your desktop? "Screen goes black" could mean so many things display/driver/video settings related.

No, I've never heard of or experienced this issue myself.

Do you have a good PC ?

If not then these kinda things also happens to me. Likecwhen I use toppling charge my toon is enable to attack for 10sec(then at that time I am killed).

But recently, I have upgraded my PC and I don't face any of these problems like long loading screens but slight lag is still there.

The black screen is actually a loading screen. Put your settings to min in cyrodiil.

My screen goes black sometimes in trials, and then comes back up (but I have to reload the game as it is permanently black, though sound is playing).

Every time this happens, I get a notification that my video card driver has crashed and recovered.

I have a good computer with a GTX 970 and the most updated drivers.

This is definitely a problem with the game, but it is not a hack.

I wish it would be resolved because video card crashes ruin my trial runs.

Was in pvp each time but I rarely am ever in pve anymore. Have you checked your driver?

Do you have a nVidia card? There are some know issues with the latest drivers.

Revert back to a previous driver version that you know worked OK for you and try again ...

it is possible that you been feared and ran through objects then caused screen to go black + performance issues made it even worse. I had this issue with boss fights in the sewer that fears into stair case. had same result for second but this is xbox 1 not a pc.
