Wouold you like to revisit locked quest areas?

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it but there are many quest areas that, once you've completed the quest, you cannot go back into the quest area. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me as I'm speaking of instanced quests so what harm would there be in being able to return? For instance, in Coldharbor you can go back into the grounds of the Manor of Revelry, but you cannot re-enter the manor itself, it remains locked. Now you may think, "Why would I care if I can't get back in somewhere if I've done the quest?" And really, there's no reason beyond the ability to use the area for roleplaying. There are tons of areas in the game that would be great for a group to be able to go into for roleplaying that are unfortunately inaccessible once the quest is done. Being able to access those areas with a group would help keep roleplayers from being harassed and would probably make the people who don't like seeing roleplayers out in the world happy, too. So, would you like it if ZOS made finished quest areas accessible again?

No, I would not care for this to be an option.

As I don't do any in-game RP, and I've got a ton of alts that will eventually go through everything, it would be vanishingly rare for me to actually go back to visit one such instance on a character who has already completed the associated quest. Nevertheless, I'd like to see it as an option for the benefit of the RP crowd.

I don't like being told I can't go somewhere in a game that is supposed to have no boundaries.

There are quite a few areas that I would like to go back just to loot. Although, I have noticed that ZOS has set the Stingy Flag on these areas when I am there for the quest.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Some areas make no sense revisiting... but a great many more might.

Now, I can see why they wouldn't want to put more strain on their servers then they have to... but... sometimes its really, really annoying when the game tells you "you cannot go through this door at this time"...

When doing the "disrupt the storm" part of the Kenarthi's Roost adventuring, I was playing in character and rushing along, thinking to myself that this looked like a nice little corner of the world to explore.

After that questline was done, I can't get back to that area.

    Unlocked just for groups? NO.

    Unlocked in general? YES.

And I'll even bring the sweetrolls.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Yes. Repeatable quests/dynamic events would be a nice feature for all zones. Either scale down to the zones level or the quests & enemy scale up to your level. One of the features I always enjoyed about gw2, you could go back to any zone for all the dynamic events, regardless of level.
Doing this could cut down on a lot of grinding.

Hadn't even considered it from that angle but you're absolutely right. Of course that would remove the option of having non-mobbed cool corners of the world for RP but in a perfect world perhaps we could have the option for both.

I'm going to choose "No", but not using the option given because it's worded wrong. It should be "No, I would not care for if this to be was an option."

Once I clear a quest, there's no incentive to return to it.

What I will say, though: I'd rather ZoS open up the areas which, for some inexplicable reason, have locks across their doors. Nothing says "lame" like walking into a large city and more than half the buildings are inaccessible.

It makes a thief's job more difficult.

There are some books for your library that appear to only be accessible in quest-locked areas. Very troubling, I want to read those! And I'm quite sure I did read them, but due to the early bugs with Shalidor's Library I didn't get credit! Very distressing!

it is because someone forgot that farm spots are the one thing ZOS always listens for bragged about getting dwemer motif pages from the 2nd FG quest then abandoning and repeating and as a result instanced areas got a loot nerf
