Nightblade - Sorceror NPCs keep killing me

I'm VR 7, have all purple VR 5 medium armor. No enchants or set bonuses though. My problem is, whenever I come across elite sorcerer NPCs, they usually kill me within a matter of seconds, unless I can manage to dodge roll most their spells and take their health down fast enough. What can I do to mitigate this? I'm assuming invest in spell resistance set bonuses and enchantments? Also, I'm a vampire, so fire mages take me down especially quickly. I'm assuming fire resistance enchantments would go a long way towards resolving that particular issue?

Thanks!!!

Need more details, best if you make a short video.

Usually the big hits can be either avoided or bashed, but its hard to tell without knowing which particular NPC is giving you trouble.

    1. 5 pieces of medium, 2 pieces of heavy, use mundus stone for stam regen/max stamina/health/weapon damage/crit.

    2. Eat food before battle.(they are cheap but they use your AP or buy from merchants , but I recommend go to cyrodiil and buy from the siege merchant). Buy portions.

    3. Spam cloak, ambush, surprise attack, rendrring slashes/ rapid strikes and soulharvest/flawless dawnbreaker/ice comet, bat swarmswarm will also do .

    4. All your attribute points on stamina. Use fire resistance glyphs.

    5. Lastly, use blur or rapid maneuver to get speed.(also to run away from battle) and vigor to heal.

    Edit:
If that doesn't work then use 2h. Spam rally and WB.

Use Veiled Strike to put the casters off balance and interrupt their spells.

Use Cloak and move away from the target area.

Get a Resto Staff and Block the Spells (can you block spells without a resto staff?)

Get some Jewelry and enchant it with some Fire Resist Glyphs, Rekuta based at least. Note VR7 is the next step in Potencies, so it might be worth while to upgrade your armor for that, but not necessary. My VR5 armor carried me until VR10, but it was a crafted set that helped with my stats.

If you have the One Hand/Shield line skilled up, use the Defensive skill. Whether you go with the Reflect or Absorb is up to you.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Use enchants on your armor and use sets with bonuses. If you can avoid and interrupt their attacks your problem must be your sustain.Once you reach Vet levels gear and CP is what makes your character.

You shouldn't have need of fire resist enchant as a vampire . Reduced cost/,weapon damage and regen will help you much more.

    Am i missing something here?
You run around without set bonus or enchants and you wonder why you die? Even if its only the lowest sets which require only 3 traits will make a huge difference compared to none.
And if you cant craft it, ask someone to craft it.

    anyway

like others said, bash interruptible red charged skills, step out of red
