is there a cap on weapon damage? I'm rocking V15 gear with Kuta's and my own little setup as far as gear goes. I feel I have a very high damage output, But I know I have some more room to gain a little more, being I'm only wearing V15 gear. My Weapon damage as of now with buffs applied goes up to 4112, Someone tells me it won't go any higher then 4250......????? Is this true?

174 weapon damage on a VR16 gold glyph plus extra 20% for gold Infused greatsword = 208.8. So by going Infused you gain about 35 weapon damage while losing 7% crit from gold Precise greatsword. I have not done calculations, but throwing away 7% crit to increase your weapon damage by less than 1% seems like a DPS loss.0 -
katcali✭I use all v 16 jewlery with Kuta weapon damage 176 addition per piece. plus my other tricks. I also use the weapon damage glyph on Greatsword. BUT, in the character screen, when looking at weapon damage, Somone told me it only went to 4250. I just figured once I finally went to V16 gear all with my setup it would give me an additonal 775 more in weapong damage. But if I'm at 4112, and it DOES have a cap, I feel like I'd be wasting time and materials trying to get that 775 addition in weapon damage if my overall would cap at the 4250

katcali✭I've learned weapon damage out wieghts crit, although Crit is very important, but I have alternatives to keep my weapon crit %45 - %55. I feel as long as you keep Crit at 50% or close you're good. But my whole Questioning in this is, I want to be able to get my Weapon damage to 4750, which by my calculations would happen when I go all V16 gear and all Kuta Glyphs. But this guy saying it Caps at 4250 has really Confused, and Bothered me. If I'm already at the CAP, then why go for more, I guess I can use the other room I have to Boost crit and other imprtant, But I would much rather get my weapon damage to 4700+

katcali✭No, you can put a glyph to Boost weapon damage for 5 seconds, similiar to the jewlery glyph most use
