You could grind necropotence in coldharbour and once you are v1 have someone craft you kagrenac's hope 5 piece+ Torug's pact 3 piece.
Note that Law of Julianos will be better next patch.
If you just need something to tide you over, go with magnus 5x+ 3 Torug's pact.

    Hi
I can make the items ok

would that be 5 and 4, as there are 9 items in all with sorc.... only one weapon per set...hope i have that right?
think i will wait till i am V1, as i am coping ok with 'mishmash' armour that i have atm

    thanks for feedback

See this thread for a good discussion on this very topic

As for going Epic, only on your weapons, its not worth it or needed on your armor. I would go only as far as Blue pre-vet, and even for early VR. That being said, in VR ranks a Purple set can last you 4 to 6 Vet Ranks.

    hi
am wondering after looking at Torug's set...this is health, rather than Magika... is this what i really need?

Any suggestions on traits... i was thinking of reinforced on chest and legs and divines on rest of armour?

    thanks

Its always a good idea to run Divines on the smaller pieces. As for the larger pieces, I run Infused and use Magic Glyphs on all the armors, and spell cost reductions on all the Jewlery.

The reason your using Torugs Pact is the Spell Damage increase, the extra Health from 3 pieces is just nice to have. After you get your 5 piece Seducer, then you really only have 3 pieces left over and Torugs is one of the best choices until you can find some Martial Knowledge pieces or some other dropped items that benefit Casters.

I don't know what rank you are, but Syrbane (L30 to L35/VR5) is a really good for two pieces of Jewlery (get the bands) and then say one Syrbane Shoulder. Then you can use Torugs Pack on the weapon and say helm to get the damage boost. That should leave 5 pieces for Seducer and you can do whatever for the necklace.

I am VR4 and running 2 piece torug's, 3 piece seducer's, and 3 piece warlock's (1 a ring). Plus a spell damage ring, and some nice vet 1 and 3 drop unique purple staves. Focus is on max magika and spell damage rather than regen.

Best I've been able to find until I get 5 traits on my armor to go to magnus. Then I'll probably drop seducer's, and perhaps go to dual-wielded torug's on damage bar. Depends if I find a better than warlock's.

    At level 45.... craft nothing!

Just use whatever you already have to get you through to V1... THEN make new stuff.

You'll out level it now very very quick.... and Vet is only a few levels away.

As others have said.... the new law of Julianos crafted set is going to be hard to beat. Couple this with maybe a V1 warlock set as you should be able to find the parts & jewellery in a guild store easy enough.

This would be a perfect blend of damage & regen that would see you through quite a few vet levels.

    Hi
    Thankyou for feedback

I hear what you say about the upcoming improved Julianos crafted set and I will wait for this; is this the update arriving on Nov 2nd?

Would this be a 5 piece and then use warlock for 3 piece?

What specs would I look for in necklace and rings?

Am a little confused, but will get there :)

    thanks for advice

I'm around your level and running 4x Magnus and 4x Twilight. You trade the 8% chance to reduce the magicka cost of a spell for extra Spell Crit.

Yes Julianos set will be craftable on the 2nd November... so get levelling and get those last few done to V1 before then if you can! ;)

I'd use 5 piece Julianos for the crit & spell power - DAMAGE
5 piece Warlock (2 x rings, 1x necklace, 2x random armor pieces... whatever you can find cheap in guild stores) - SUSTAIN

For the warlock you can get V1 rings and necklace from guild stores, as well as the armor pieces.... so get hold of a couple of rings/necklace, and a couple of armor pieces (pref small pieces such as hands, waist etc..... though only from a cosmetic perspective... lets you have the bigger bits any style you want as Julianos is crafted).... and then you can craft the other parts in Julianos.

The fact that Warlock has jewellery means you can get 2 x 5 piece sets into the build which is really nice.

    Hi
    That was great feedback

I am assuming...after looking ...that Julianos sets, are not on the list of craftable sets yet. I'm assuming they are new or did I miss something?

Also, are the Warlock items dropped items in certain areas. (although I will do as you suggest and look in GS?

    Thanks again

Julianos won't be craftable until November 2 with the new DLC

Warlock drops where ever your VR1 mobs are, so go farm them. I recommend a Delve with Daedra in it, but I have gotten a Signet off of a Wolf before. However you can't use that until your VR1. So, all your going to find is L15 to L23 Warlock that you can use. Quite Frankly, two Bands of Syrbane give more regen than the 3 warlock pieces, and those are L30 to L35. Also nice if you put additional Regen Glyphs on them, Rekuta based or better. Then you can use any necklace you want.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

@Dwermer Heres a really basic set up: 4 magnus 4 eyes of mara 3 arcane jewelry with cost reduction or spell damge. That will give spell damage x2 regen x2 and magicka x2. Its a good all-rounder set up for leveling and i use it still on my v9 sorc. When you get to v8, you can replace the jewelry with soulshine to get more magicka and spell crit. It works just fine for everything pve exlcuding the more difficult vet dungeons and trials of course.

Me: It's[WB spamming DK] a really cheesy build
Guildy: I like cheese with my wine, and WB creates some really good wine.

Hence why I suggested using 5 piece Warlock at V1.... the OP is only a few levels away from V1 so talk of L15/23 jewellery is moot as he'll be able to use the full 5 piece V1 set. And no point in using level 30.35 jewellery either as this is way below his level.

At level 45 theres no point in doing anything until V1.... at which point you get more options... such as running 5 piece warlock, along with 5 piece julianos.

I still can't think of a single better setup than that. Crazy regen/sustain (Far above Syrabane) and excellent damage.
