Faction Mount Blankets

In the old system, once you leveled your Mount to 50, your mount got a coloured faction blanket under the saddle, coloured red for EP, Yellow for AD etc. to show your horse was fully leveled.
Now when I get my mount skills to 60/60/60 there's no faction blanket anymore to show you have maxed out your riding skills.
Were they removed on purpose for some reason or did the Devs just forget about them?
