Crafting writs not showing up in veteran zones

I'm level V2 now and upon entering the first zone in Cadwell's silver, I noticed that new crafting writs don't show up on the boards in the cities I am in. I have to go back to my original faction's zones to pick them up. Yes; my crafts are leveled appropriately and I've invested skill points into the passives to allow me to use materials from vet1-4 levels.

Is this just part of how the game works? I seriously have to go back to my home faction to pick up relevant crafting writs? Or am I experiencing a very inconvenient bug?

Same here. I've bugged this and posted on the forum several times about this problem with absolutely no reply. I have multiple vet characters with maxed out provisioning, max out passives, and high level recipes that are still being asked to craft starter recipes and turn them in to starter zones.

This needs fixed yesterday. I've missed out on about 1,000 opportunities for Psijic Ambrosia recipe pages with these toons.

Wait! So you're getting writs that require crafting low level items? I'm not sure, but I think my writs were still in the same level range that I am...I just have to go back to a home faction zone to pick them up. I could be wrong though. I'll have to double check when I log on again.

Well, technically those are enemy factions (yeah, I know, not really), so it makes sense that you couldn't take orders from the people you are working against.

I usually just park my toons in the zone where they have to deliver the writs, unless there is a more convenient way of doing it. My masters in each craft have to deliver in Craglorn anyway, so it doesn't matter much.

OP: The level of the writ is determined by how many skill points you put into the skill level for a craft (with some gating based on character level that I'm still trying to figure out), so someone who is a level 50 clothier but only has one skill point in the material level will be asked to make Hide and Flax items and deliver them in the second zone of their alliance.

It's bugged. I have VR2 and VR3 toons with maxed provisioning, maxed points in every provisioning passive, every VR5 and VR10 recipe required for the daily writs, access to Craglorn, and they are still being asked to craft level 40 recipes and turn them in to a starter zone. Sometimes they are asked to craft veteran recipes and turn them in to Craglorn, but 90% of the time the writ asks for starter recipes to be turned in to a starter zone.

Personally I kinda liked that you'd have to go back to your "homelands" to do crafting writs, since all of cadwells is kinda visiting an "alternate reality"... but I guess that's me.

Actually i can do all crafting writs in Craglorn and all of them v14 stuff except enchanting writs. I dont know why but i do alchemy, clothing, woodwork, blacksmith in Craglorn and get their reward in Craglorn aswell but whenever i try to do enchanting writs i need to go back to Davon's Watch to get my level 10 reward :/

You need to have completed the quest called The Hollow City in Coldharbour. Until then your writs will be level 40. (however sometimes you still get craglorn writs, idk why but it's a small chance just like you described)
After you finish the quest then your writs will scale to veteran ranks and you'll be able to submit them in Craglorn.

Yeah I did every quest in coldharbour. Unless it's like some secret quest that you have to go back for.

I thought you can only get writs from your home alliance territory.

    Or craglorn.

Writs unavailable in veteran zones. You gottan pick them elsewhere.

If so that must've changed recently, I got crafting writs in the vet zones while leveling vet ranks...
Also, I'm pretty certain they scale to your _crafting_ level, not your _character_ level

Because it pisses off the necro police like you, apparently.
