@Gidorick Primarily Dagoth Ur's Plans and Vivec's dialogue in Morrowind.

Following his reawakening in 2E 882 [DUP], Dagoth Ur bound himself to the Heart of Lorkhan [DUP], the source of the Tribunal's power, and proceeded to set in motion plans to create a theocracy in Morrowind based on the worship of the new-born god Akulakhan [DUP]. Later that same year [DUP], Dagoth Ur and his ash vampires ambushed the Tribunal during their annual ritual bathing in the heart's power [DUP], driving them away and preventing them from restoring themselves with Kagrenac's tools [DUP]. In the years that followed, while Dagoth Ur attempted to spread Corprus disease and the Blight throughout Vvardenfell from his fortress in the crater of Red Mountain, the Tribunal launched intermittent campaigns against the fortress [DUP], seeking to force access to the Heart Chamber. While some were successful, and Dagoth Ur and his kin were slain, the Heart always revived them in time [Vivec]. When the Tribunal realized they couldn't destroy him, they created the Ghostfence to contain the threat [Vivec].

Thanks @Enodoc! I tip my hat to you sir.

One thing I didn't catch before was that "before 2E 882: Dagoth Ur and his kin lie dreaming beneath the sills of Red Mountain" [DUP]... so the seasonal campaigns against red mountain happened after 2E 882... too late for eso. :disappointed:

I'd like to see Black marsh opened up first, most of the EP content is too Nord/Dunmer focused atm, especially with the upcoming clockwork city DLC, which is located underneath mournhold (according to the tribunal expansion).

    DUNMER
    Stonefalls
    Deshaan
    Bal Foyen
    Clockwork city (coming soon)

    NORD
    Bleakrock Isle
    Eastmarch
    The Rift

    Argonian
    Shadowfen

As you can see the current EP distribution is a bit unbalanced.

I agree with what you're saying generally, but its not entirely true. Bal Foyen is an argonian settlement. The village of Bal Foyen is that argonian village you stumble into after escaping from Bleakrock and sailing there. You then travel west toward Stonefalls, which is up the mountains from that swampy plain. Stonefalls begins at that fortification on the hill, and yes that is a Dunmer fort.

Other than that I agree that I'd like to see more Argonian culture uncovered, because I've always had a soft spot for the lizard folk in the series. In terms of Dunmer culture, I expect to see a lot with Clockwork City as well as the Realm of Mephala... Mephala is after all the anticipation of Vivec, and the patron of the Morag Tong.

Its an area that was given to ex slaves for their settlement. Its still very much apart of Morrowind and Dunmer land. Did you not visit the Dunmer (Pact) Fort that sits overlooking the village?

Yes it's in Morrowind, and yes the Dunmer built the fort and the docks, but for all intents and purposes, Bal Foyen is politically Argonian territory at this time.

This is the point I was making. The Dunmer maintain their fort and docks, but they have given the business and land for farming over to the Argonians who were their former slaves. By the way, the Chimer stole land from the original inhabitants: The Argonians. If you go far back enough in time, the land was theirs, at least all the swampy territories that Argonians love.

I go to UESP for lore info and it generally doesn't steer me wrong and there isn't many out there that would put false info on an elder scrolls wiki but what @Enodoc quoted was directly opposed by the page under Battle of Red Mountain on uesp so we do need to get to the actual source on this although I suspect what Enodoc quoted is actually correct...

Whenever using a wiki for lore information, always check the source it bases it on. It should list it there, but sometimes it's not always a direct link, like if it's dialogue or something. I always go out of my way to track the source down, because context is usually very important anyway.

Indeed, and because you brought it up, we were able to go through the page that you found, see that it was poorly sourced, and come up with a fully sourced alternative. Sometimes unsourced things like that do slip though, and it takes situations like these to get those corrected :)

If someone is pointing to in game documents, then their point is a lot more valid. That's all I'm saying, whether it comes from Morrowind, Oblivion, ESO, Daggerfall, Arena, whatever.

    Who wouldn't?

Vvandenfell. What a beautifull province... My wishes for Vvandenfell:
    - I think it should come as an mandatory Expansion Pack and not as an optional DLC.
    - It should be big! Bigger than 2 or even 3 zones put together!
    - New travel system! I think there shouldn't be more than one portal in Vvandenfell. Once there we should be able to ride on the back of the mighty Slit Striders and travel in a similar way we could travel in Morrowind. That way we could see the world from another level. Fast travel shouldn't be entirely disabled.
    - Traps! There should be many hidden events of all sorts here and there. For example poisonous plants or deadly fish.
    - 60+ hours of gameplay.
    - Lots of new music tracks specific for this region.
    - Perhaps Spellcrafting should be reserved for this particular expansion pack.

    1 simply isn't gonna happen
2 wouldn't jive with the map size of the current provinces, unlikely to happen
3 unlikely to happen for same reason as 2
4 as long as it isn't overdone. wouldn't want people quitting out of frustration
    5 fine with me
    6 fine with me
7 spellcrafting, or any other similar expansion of the game, should NEVER be tied to a single reason unless there's a hevily lore-based reason for it, and I don't see one for spellcrafting (of course, spellcrafting is generally considered to be very unlikely to appear in the game no matter what, the original designer of it has left ZOS, and the current staff don't seem very enthusiastic about it)
