Magicka NB Question

I know this game is touted as a "play as you want" game, but I am looking for a strong build to help level fast and be competitive in PvP later in the game. My question is this: does a dual-wield variant of Deltia's Umbra build make sense as a viable build to level with? I was also planning on using the offhand resto staff to be a healer in dungeons and such. I was thinking of dual wield swords for the increase in spell power. The only DW abilities I want on my bar are rapid strikes and steel tornado for when I get surrounded by a bunch of enemies, and then only to use if magicka runs out. Thoughts anyone?

I couldn't say anything about Deltia's Umbra build because I have not seen it.

but as I leveled my magicka NB, Rapid Maneuver and cloak were a constant while walking around, the speed boost was crazy and I could zip around from quest to quest super fast usually running past people on mounts. If you have a good Magic Regen and eat the magic regen food this does not even cost anything in the way of resources.

Thought I'd mention it as you say you want to level fast. Also, I had no problems with DW and Resto staff which is what I still use now. Mobs fell away like cannon fodder.

Well if you are wanting a build to grind then you don't have to stick with Magicka to do it. I grinded my character up to VR in a matter of hours using various stam builds for AoE farming. Just search Nightblade AoE Farming ESO in google, bing or youtube and see which one fits for you.

The beauty of it is you can just reallocate your skills and attributes into whatever you want from that point forward. I.E. switching from Stam to Magicka.
