I've been leveling my Templar for a dps roll and have been tinkering, looking at other builds and overall just trying to prepare myself for when I hit cap. I am building a all melee (taboo, I know) because bows don't interest me for this character.
I've set up my single target (2hand) and my aoe (dual wield) as follows
Single= biting jabs, critical charge, executioner, evil hunter, rally, dawn breaker.
AoE= steel tornado, repentance, blazing spear, quick cloak, radiant ward, nova
So single target is pretty self explanatory. My aoe rotation is a bit busy to start, maybe need to change it up a little? My intended rotation would be rally, hunter, cloak, blazing spear, sun shield, tornado, tornado, tornado refresh. Both quick cloak and sun shield are doing aoe dmg while also keeping me alive since I am in the fray possibly getting smacked vs hanging out in the back as a ranged. I've wondered if the two shields is overkill and if so what would you change? I've thought about dropping hunter during aoe but the stamina return as well as the damage to undead and daedra makes it worthwhile to keep. Maybe this is in my head? Is 4 buffs to start a rotation too much? This is why I'm here though, tell me what you think and feel free to change things up in your suggestion.
Cheers
