PC / Mac only. I dabbled in consoles once, but couldn't imagine using one for playing most games, much less an MMO. The terrible ergonomics of console controllers, combined with my arthritis, make them effectively unusable for me.

Nova Sky✭✭✭✭✭I originated on the PC/Mac and took advantage of the account copy when the PS4 version came out. That's where I spend most of my ESO time now — on the PS4, with my 500-strong guild, Better Hide or Die.

You guys have gone against the grain it seems moving from the almighty PC to PS4 and XB1 and you actually seem to prefer it which is the first I have heard of amidst the hundreds of continuous PC owner comments about consoles as if they aren't worth prodding with a stick!!
How\why for you guys is the console your preferred choice and how does the console differ from the PC version???
Oh and please I don't want to see yet another bad record playing set of posts we have all read before from all you PC owners about graphics better, text chat blah blah blah - yes we console owners know this already, I just want to hear it from the other perspective now thankyou very much!!"Look I got cleAN SOCKS"0 -
terrordactyl1971✭✭✭✭PS4 currently, but I was a pc player for 6 or 7 years.
Most of the people on these forums are pc players, as forums work better on pc. But, that doesn't mean that most ESO players are on pc - there's a fair chance it has sold just as well on Xbox1 and PS4.1 -

It's refreshing not having to deal with OS errors, editing ini files to improve graphics, run virus checkers and anti-spyware, making sure drivers are the latest version, rolling back drivers when they are incompatible. You get online and find wall hackers and cheaters running bots etc. Then you need to flash the bios, buy newer graphics cards, unpick broken drivers from the registry. Find free registry cleaners to remove the *** spyware. searching google to find why you have an error in xydfzv54.dll every time you boot up. Boring.

@terrordactyl1971 - I know what you mean but that is is a bit silly - not calling you silly fella, just everyone else haha - that just because they are non-pc players they are less likely to be on the forum. It's like having a high maintenance girlfriend that stresses you out when the girl-next-door is easy going and a more stress-free option!!!"Look I got cleAN SOCKS"1

Lets see one year more if ESO PC is still alive, ESO should live alot longer on consoles, because simply, playerbase is so much higher. Next-gen consoles are full of eager noobs and PC is old of jaded oldies.

More hacking and modds. Consoles will ban hackers and console modders.
The better pc usually wins. Can really tell on fps games. Consoles plays against the same device.
Pc gaming is expensive. I'm a disabled vet cant afford upgrades for my pc every few months. Consoles dont need upgrades.

But then you have a console. It's all a little bit less, but it's plug and play. Gone were the days where I spend a Saturday afternoon in tweaking a single game for my PC.
There's also a Full HD Beamer and a fantastic surround installation attached to the console. The screen is massive. That helps too. Of course.
