Everyone I run into is in agreement that the monster helm drop rate since imperial city is beyond a tolerable level. I have literally gotten 2 helm drops from about 60 vet 16 completions.

Don't tell me my RNG is bad. I know some of you have better luck. By and large a lot of people. As in everyone I talk to. Plenty of drop rates are just out of control but this one is one that I would like to bring to attention currently.

    I have gotten more since the update. 10 more to be exact when I have only gotten one before the update. So it is just the case of Rng.

    Currently at 46 dungeon runs without finding a Helm

    and yeah, I blame the RNG

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom , The monster helmet scheme has been out long enough. Now that you are incentivizing veteran dungeon completions with Golden Laurels and jewelry set items it is safe for you to up the helmet drop rate while keeping interest in the dungeons. Also, if you are really worried about the longevity of said content, then it is time to make all items that come from veteran dungeons v16.

    It has been hard finding a group to do dungeons with and increasing the drop rate of helmets, along with the new Golden Laurel scheme, could help bring interest back to the veteran dungeons.

    I got on my second WTG run Kena, on my first Spindle run Blood Spawn and on my first Sewers run Malubeth. All I needed. :lol:
    Haven't heard of any complaining about the droprate for the monster sets lately. Rather about the WGT and Prison sets.

    My motivation to complete the gear sets i wanted ended on my 97th completion of Vet Darkshade Caverns, with no Heavy engine guardian of any trait.

    When did you lose your motivation to keep going for the itemization you wanted?

    While a very select few may have been insanely lucky to even get a helm, let alone one they were interested in, I agree with what @Personofsecrets mentioned. It's getting difficult to get a team together to do runs for whatever helm you want. I think it's time to rethink this mechamic. It would be relatively easy to tie it into the pledges. Instead of opening a chest with a key, change it to you turn in 15 for a helm, and 15 for a shoulder piece. Or they could just change it to bind on equip. That would be awesome.

    well thats just bad luck cause i got all the monsters helms some multiple times within 2 weeks i had a streak of a new helm every day for 6 days too
