For a while in the evenings small scale pvp have miraculously happened in Arboretum (Haderus EU).
Sometimes you can even have some 20/20/20. The dream ...
The fights are epic and non stop as they take place right below respawn places. No damn 5 minutes riding !
You are welcome to join but for godsake, not with a zerg mentality.
And good manners would dictate not to repeatidly jump on 2 poor guys with a 10 group.
Informal duels or 2/3v2/3 can happen with common sense.
What is nice is after a while, you tend to know and respect the people you fight against night after night and you usually dont help killing them when they are obviously outnumbered.

That sounds horrible. I personally hate the instant respawn death doesn´t matter at all IC mechanics.

Small scale pvp can happen any where in Cyrodiil, I have some great field battles as my group of 10 to 15 run into an enemy force of about the same size, in sewers had some 4v4 6v6, not every battle in pvp is the zerg ball. thank the maker :)

Instant respawn ruins it. Doesn't sound fun at all :/ . Plus that zone is ridiculously filled with npcs interfering with all the fights

Npcs dont matter much when there is a lot of people fighting, I d even say they add extra tension.
And death still matters when you see your number of stones growing then to loose them most of all suddenly.

Meeeh no one carries stones in districts. I get a lot more tension when I roam in the AD sewers after stealing them 5k stones thank you :)

I ended up yestrday with 1k stone in Arboretum. Nothing big, but nice. And those fighting are frantic, due to the instant respawn. You may not like the mechanic, but it creates something unique in pvp, never encountered before. And this not means you die willingly, I mesure my success exactly by how long I can stay in middle of the mayhem w/o dying.
And on a side note Etaniel, those are the fighting where mag Dk just do great still.

I won't question that, I've been in some of those fights, I just think they get boring extremely fast.
I think we've see that sort of play before, with camps. But here we're encolsed in an even smaller space, and instead of seeing the same faces every minute, you see them every 10 seconds.

But if people enjoy that then so be it :)

Instant respawn fights are not unique. I guess you forgot the forward camps. At least back then there were a goal -capture the fort/resource/etc. Now you spawn, fight and die.

    Because I can!

Hi Vanz, I tagged you in another thread to see if you can come over and give some input! Etaniel would be cool to hear from as well, I will go back and tag you there too.

As far as Haderus - Arboretum, it's super fun and you don't always see the same people as there are many groups who like to enter the sewers through that district, or who come to look for instant PVP gratification. If it gets too repetitive you can always dash down into the sewer entrance there or skip districts. My only gripe is the people shooting down from their respawn location above the fight. It's not a keep that you're defending...you don't get a def tick, and you should be embarrassed to be hiding up there shooting down into the battle.
