Hey Gina how about next time you guys shut down the game for hrs how about posting it on the launcher that there will be maintenance? i had to come here to the forums to find out that there's maintenance going on a tuesday!?!? Ive been playing for over a yr now and we usually have maintenance on mondays so if zos is going to change things maybe they could inform the players a little better???

Yes I was at molag kena in vet WGT for my very first time and as soon as we started the message displayed on my screen. We rushed our strategy and wiped over and over until it took our opportunity away.

this is bs zos just does what they want without informing us the players in an appropriate time what is going on!!! btw we shouldnt have to shuffle thru the forums to find out what the hell is going on either!!!

It does say in the 800 page user agreement written in white text with a slightly darker white background and in the smallest font pt there is that they may initiate maintenance without notice. Should have been obvious bruh

I haven't been playing for a year. But I do know there is regular maintenance and have no need to verify that scheduled down time is scheduled because like any service or company I pay on a monthly basis, I expect to be notified with diligent effort that I will not be able to use the service I'm paying for outside of the regular downtime without having to do extra curricular tasks. It sshould have told me ingame not to start the dungeon i've been trying so hard to beat because I'll just be denied opportunity when we shut the game down.

But that's just standard business ethic no big deal

So you haven't been playing for a year, but first thing you do what you come back is... complain ! :-)

For your information, while scheduled maintenances are still mainly on mondays, there have been numerous occasions on which the standard schedule has been changed.
Coming to the forums to check is safer.

I don't mind there is maintenance, and even though it sucks that I woke up very early today and would love the while away the early hours playing ESO....

But it is my real hope that, with this maintenance, they fix the rubberbanding and lag issues. I am getting tired of having to re-run the distance over that bridge or hill again and again because I rubber banded back to the beginning. And tired of having to relog in hopes of getting my game to recognize that I get to loot that dead guy or talk to that NPC. It is really frustrating. I think I had to relog about every 15 minutes yesterday for that purpose.

Not hard work, but unacceptable considering I'm paying for a service.

Man I'm not complaining just to complain, but anyone who had to find out the way i did (on the last boss of the new and extremely difficult and taxing content for the first time) would be unhappy. I shouldn't have to check via browser to know about unscheduled Down time. A server motd would have been nothing but expected. Any developer who values the money we invest into using their product should have the decency to make sure everyone knows that dedicating hours of their time on their hardest content is I'll advised because they're unexpectedly and barely giving you 24 hour notice of server shutdown.

you are correct like how hard is it for zos to give us timely notification on upcoming maintenance and changes?

The people that play ESO regularly tend to check the forums and proper channels to know when stuff is going to happen. It's been planned well in advance and will continue to be just as it has been since launch.

Everyone knows to check the forums? Clearly not considering the feedback. I was here three days ago and what I knew was that there was no maintenance today. Now it's somehow my responsibility to just some how know that I have to revisit the website to see the alert? I don't have enough magika for that ability.

Lol they post about upcoming stuff like this generally at least 24 hours in advance unless its emergency maintenance. In fact there it is the post they made about it so obviously you didn't. Someone needs to calm down and realize it's not that big of a deal to turn into a grumpy face over.

Not that hard, especially if you just pin a bookmark to their 'news' forum. "Stay up to date with the latest official announcements." add that bookmark and any time you want to check it's a mere 3 clicks away.

If you were looking for a private conversation with Gina Bruno, then you should have pm'd her and not started an open thread in the general forums.

And yes they should definitely make an effort to have maintenance posted on the launcher.

Well you named a ZOS employee and started a hostile post about how THIS IS BS... not to mention calling people smart asses for 'defending zos' who you are trying to start the fight with by your initial posts. I'm simply saying you can easily check the news forums cause it's really not that hard... you click just as many times to open your game much less play it, so the effort isn't too much.

1-I named an employee that is usually good at getting back to ppl here in the forums with an answer 2-It is bs because they scheduled this maintenance at the last second pretty much without proper notification 3-the ppl i got hostile with attacked me 1st so....
