I have been playing a 2 handed stam knight since launch, and I have -never- spammed it, because when I do that, I get destroyed, heaven forbid people use absorb shields, or their armor abilities to get dodge chances and increased physical resistance. Or -dodge- for that matter. It is literally our only big damage ability, the rest are fluff damage, increase the damage of the other abilities, and I would be fine with taking the damage down, but you cannot nerf our only big hitter and leave our other attacks pitiful as they are. Again, I have never faced someone I allowed to spam it, you just dodge away as a stam player, critical charge, dot them, use shuffle, wrecking blow, repeat usually. Or I pull out my bow and LoS them and use snipe, light attack poison injection combo to annoy them. You can combat it, it is not hard by any means, it has a charge up time after all, and the range is a glaring problem because of the LAG in cyro, not the ability.0 -

"charge up" can be animation canceled, and for nonstam users youre ****, and not saying its not beatable, not EVERY time someone spams me with WB i die, but when you have 3 guys Spamming it, its a problem. Snipe got nerfed, magic det got nerfed, sorry not sorry but WB will be nerfed.. its bound to happen you know why?! BECAUSE EVERYONE is using it, its that simple.When you saw everyone spamming snipe and magic det what happened? it got nerfed, why ? because it was OP and where is the fun in doing PvP when you run into a zerg and get smacked by 5people doing WB for 5k or less and youll still die, and thats a weak hits.
as far as "just dodge roll away" you can only dodge roll away so much.. because of that last nerf.
either it will be nerfed or magic users will have to be buffed up, which i doubt will happen. so the odds are not in your favor.
(the average player can't defend himself against a WB spammer)

I run 2 handed and bow, my wrecking blow does 400 more damage than snipe. The abilities are still both incredibly powerful. Crystal shards are just as god damned powerful, you cannot expect our only high damage ability to be nerfed if the other high damage abilities are left alone, that is ludicrous. Maybe have it do less damage from stealth, that would prevent oodles of nightblades spamming it from stealth, sure, but not its base damage, that is just crazy talk. If you are facing 3-5 dps players alone with same skill and equal equipment, regardless of what attacks they spam, you are dead. As per the animation cancelling cancelling the charge, that is ZoS problem for not addressing that issue in itself, not the abilities fault. That is a result of ZoS nerfing -everything- because people whined about everything. Just give it time, everything will be nerfed, and we will be at the beginning again. All I see is nightblades as well, but I don't come on here and constantly complain about it, I adapt.0 -

Sure you can ask for more balanced skills, but asking to nerf a single ability which already had to be buffed because it used to be completely useless and ignoring other abilities which have the same strength is not the way to do it. IF WB got nerfed, shards and snipe would have to be taken down a notch and all the other 2 handed abilities would have to be buffed, otherwise the 2 handed line would be useless. Again.0 -
