I think it shouldn't have a timer but after you turn human again you still have to build ultimate

    Toggle.

Seriously, I feel like someone with ADD. Kill, feed, kill, feed, kill, feed...and on, and on, and on!!! I can't just chill out and move at my own pace. Really tired of it.

I think the WW skill line is well thought out and has a nice rounded set of abilities, and it's a hoot to play. But the ultimate cost for the timer is out of whack. While I'd personally like removing the timer, I think that would be too OP.

    Overall I think WW needs:
    • Either lower ultimate cost or increase the timer. I'd prefer a timer increase.
    • Reduce devour time OR devour returns more time in form. I'd prefer the latter.
    • Fix the dance around and try to find the devour "X" spot.
    • Return some ultimate when you transform back early.
    • Stop the WW timer during load screens. Seems like it used to, but lately it doesn't?
    • Let WW's who also have the Clothing skills craft Savior's Hide.
    • NPCs, including quest givers, should run away from WWs if they aren't also a WW (or Vamp?)
    • Guards should attack WWs on sight.

While in combat skilled werewolves can stay in form until death or Victory. So this idea that a timerless transformation being OP is really just not true.

Here is why a timerless transformation is still balanced (PvP standpoint).

Werewolves can't Stealth: While they may be fast and vicious they are always open to being hunted. Stealth attacks and camohunter's are brutal to werewolf let alone lethal and poison arrows still very much hurt.

Werewolves can't Mount: Werewolves are some of the most mobile units on the battlefield, though we have to use our most precious resource (stamina) in order to move quickly.

Werewolves can't Sneak: Werewolves hit like a truck, but you can see us coming like one.

Werewolves can't purge: Dots, slows, roots don't go anywhere when applied to werewolves.

Werewolves can't combo ultimates: When you fight a werewolf you know exactly what you are getting into, werewolves have a total of 10 morphed abilities and truly almost all of them have no effect on you as an opponent, there is no combo + Ultimate.

Werewolves suck at hunting: The have very poor aoe for pulling enemies out of stealth

Werewolves are tough: but lack a sustainable heal (unless magica), they are weak to poison and fighters guild and our only real protection is their thick hides.

Werewolf abilities are expensive: Some of the most expensive abilities in the game!

Werewolf form has no ulti generation: Ultimate does not generate in form, so if we have to drop form we do so with 0 ultimate built up.

So before you use OP and Werewolf in the same sentence look at these reasons, remember a werewolf can basically stay in form as long as there is a fight... so why hate on those werewolves that want to stick in form after the fight or at least a little longer.

Change it from feeding to blood rage or something and have the length incresed every kill not every feeding. No hanky animation and no trying to posistion perfectly to feed just focus on kills.

Would be fun if it lasted a lot longer. But if you play it right with a few people in your group 1 being the white version you can be transformed so long as your in combat doing damage.

This game also does its best to say "stay out of the red". In the very beginning they have an archer with neon lights shooting from his face and a giant path in front of him with "NOPE" written all over it, yet blood rage encourages people to jump into these aoe's, and to not block dots all so they can get this passive to trigger. Never understood that, and have dropped transformation mid combat plenty because those situations called for movement, why should ww's have to go counter to the games design just for this passive to work?

True. Best practice would be whenever you take damage or deal damage. I'm not going to say I don't walk into caltrops durring siege to stay in form.

I liked @Prothwata 's post above. Maybe it's not OP in PvP. Sure feels crazy powerful in PvE, though. And I can't purge anyway.

Not sure how someone stays in WW form for an hour, at least not unless they are grinding/deliberately killing everything. I can hardly go 5 minutes in the game without having to talk to an NPC or open a chest or something.

I think it needs an increase. Even when you put skill points into the passive skills to increase the timer and increase the timer when I take damage it still feels short. I want to continue to fight as a werewolf not run around trying to find a dead body to eat just to add 5 more sec onto the timer.

I think, Werewolf deals too much damage in pvp and does not need any more buffs increasing their raw strenght.
But I think, Werewolves should restore all their health and also some stamina when they kill someone.

When I see my bf 1vxing with his Werewolf, it's so stupid that he basically gets nothing for killing someone. In most games I know where there is some kind of biest, they restore their health and so on when they kill something. (Good example the Psycho Krieg from Borderlands 2) And I think, Werewolf should get ressources either when they kill something-
Because in a 1v1, they need nothing, they are way too strong here when played right. But for 1vx, they could use some help.
