Hmm, how do I start this... Well I think Blade Cloak needs some love. As it is now, it reduces AOE damage by 20% and has a weak short range AOE spray it does every 3 seconds. One morph gives 40% speed boost for 5sec on activation which is nice, and the other lets you do a ranged attack which I find cumbersome and not worth using (it does a little more damage than flying blade, but you are activating that skill twice in order to do so which is just slow and meh) The people who I have seen using this are primarily using it for the speed boost, especially if not Nightblades who have access to Double Take.
Here's what I want to be done!
On top of the 20% AOE shield, give it crit immunity to AOE. The whole AOE aspect of this ability makes it too situational to be used in most circumstances. The only time I've used it is to help try and stay alive in Cyrodiil vs groups that do a lot of AOE. It helps obviously, but most of the time if you're taking so much AOE damage that you want to try slot this, it probably means your dead anyways. I think the speed boost to run away from the AOE is more effective than standing in it and hoping 20% is gonna save you lol. So pretty much this ability is a speed boost, and the 20% AOE protection is just a little side affect. That is not what this ability is suppose to be... And where does that leave the other morph? What other morph? lol
And now the stupid aoe damage it does, be gone with it! No one cares about a tiny little AOE that goes off around you every 3 seconds. Especially if your a Nightblade trying to stealth around and cloak, the stupid thing pulls you out if you're near anyone. Instead, make it return damage to melee attackers just like Dragon Knight's Spiked Armor ability. Much more useful and makes sense. You have a buncha blades swirling around you, if someone runs up and tries to hit you, they're gonna get cut

So for the morphs, I guess something like this
Quick Cloak - Reduces AOE damage by 20% and protects from AOE critical strikes. Also grants Major Expedition for 5 seconds.
Deadly Cloak - Reduces AOE damage by 20% and protects from AOE critical strikes. Melee attackers receive x physical damage. Breaks roots and snares upon activation.
Pretty big improvement, yes I know. Too much? Well think about it... Look at all the stuff 2h has. Great execute, great gap closer, Brawler works great for questing and stuff, Uppercut hits like a truck, Momentum is damage buff with either a nice heal or small heals with a root and snare break with 2sec immunity. Every one of 2h's skills are good. What does DW have? Steel Tornado, yay... Not that steel tornado is bad, it's great, but that's pretty much it lol. Twin strikes is meh, flurry is meh, blade cloak is meh, hidden blade is meh (Well I actually kinda like it cus it's nice to have something ranged that does decent damage and can snare, but the buff needs to be increased to 20sec, 10 is annoying) Give Blade Cloak some love which will give DW a little more survivability and actually make this ability a worthy defensive skill like it's suppose to be. (Apparently this forum thinks "survivability" isn't a real word but google says otherwise lol"
