If the changes to my character are to overwhelming I might not have the gut to play this game much longer.
As long as my tank doesn't get messed with anymore....I am already dependent on Templar/shards for any stam regen....
If you get upset over nerfs, this genre isnt for you.

There are a few reasons
1. My Nightblade.. omg will it get nerfed??
2. Right before IC came out, everyone was hyping it up, and then came back and talked about how bad it was.
I don't think I will purchase it just yet. If the changes to my character are to overwhelming I might not have the gut to play this game much longer. I'm not the type of character on here that likes changes. Since IC came out my Vet character has only went up one level because I don't even like playing it any longer. It is funny how they reduced the time it takes to level a vet but made it much harder for me to level.
So ya.. I will be sitting on the sidelines. I have a funny feeling people will rush in and get the DLC, and then 3 weeks from now they will be here talking how bad it was.
I love my ( magicka ) Nightblades more than ever since Update 7

People aren't so hyped this time, because people realize, that the base game needs lots of improvements and changes instead of another payed DLC right now.
Imperial City had so much potential and only 1 month later, they already announce the next DLC. The first reaction of me and my boyfriend when they suddenly announced Orsinium PTS, was
' I'm overuses ''
Just too much in a short time, without the previous things being fixed/improved/changed however.
There is excitment, there definately is. It's not that I'm not happy about new content. But I myself was not yet ready for this.
Now my hype is for Fallout 4 and nothin' else.

A level 4 character, still in Wailing Prison garb and that cannot even fill the action bar, is effective in the Orsinium DLC. To maintain the illusion that I, as a player, actually matter, I will have to restrict my activities in Wrothgar to my top level characters. Otherwise, it just seems like I am along for the ride and all I have to do is press buttons.

Regardless of what anyone (or more to the point, the fanboys) tells you, your top priority when deciding on which console to opt for should be down to which one your friends are gaming on, then which exclusive games you'd prefer. I initially bought the PS4, all my gaming friends remained on xbox and i regretted my decision. Thankfully i managed to trade my PS4 in for an xbone. Not regretted it.

Just curious, have you actually tried Orsinium as a level 4, with no CP or starter gear, and also purposefully forgotten all your personal knowledge and skill derived from playing the game for over a year? From what I can tell, the World Bosses and Maelstrom Arena are quite challenging, even for Vet characters. It seems like the mob density in normal questing zones is higher, and there are more 3-pack mobs than a usual zone.
That said, I would have preferred difficulty scaling of some kind to provide consistency for all player types; there just seems to be no way to provide a Dark Souls-esque experience for the elite few, as well as a balanced, less-masochistic experience for the casual. It is supposed to be a solo-friendly zone, so anyone, even in a group of two, is probably going to have an easier time, just like in the rest of the PVE zones.
