Orsinium hype thread!

Hey guys!

Orsinium is out in two weeks! (unless they decide to postpone it)

What are your thoughts? What are you looking forward to and what are you not so hyped about?

Does it make you more motivated to play?

I am quite motivated as they are reducing the TVS costs, I will be spending much more time in both IC and Orsinium. I like the changes.

What about you?

for participants. I figured it was getting a bit overwhelming with all these 'I demand, cause everything sucks' threads.

I'm looking forward to the arena. It's a nice way to test your build and the only thing I've done on the PTS. Haven't touched any story to not spoil things.

I also liked one particular UI change where you have your stats next to your equipment window.

The release won't change anything in regards to me spending more time in-game as I'm logged in almost every day anyway

And now we wait for the complainers and whiners. Just kidding (whispers: or am I?)

What level gear drops in normal Arena btw? I have seen the rank 16 weapons but I guess those are for veteran mode.

I'm looking forward to exploring the Wrothgarian mountains and hopefully learning more about the Orsimer. With its impending release I've been playing more too.

I think I'll find the solo arena too, but that's a side thing for me, I'm mostly interested in the quests.

Normal Arena drops Vet15 I think, but has no chance for Master Weapon like on Vet Arena

I have only played normal on a V14 template so I only got V14 gear. Nothing exciting or actually worth using. Still an Ok compensation for the little effort required for the normal arena. Only had one attempt at veteran first arena but couldn't finish. I may be more lucky with my own toon in case they'll copy them for EU this week.

Sadly I have already completed Orsinium which really should be wrothgar as Orsinium is the small little city in Wrothgar and Wrothgar is the name of the zone.

Maelstrom Arena is going to be the best thing that happened to the game since launch. I really really really hope they don't somehow mange to snip this up.

Well they refer to the DLC as Orsinium, so I guess Wrothgar is just icing on the cake?

This discussion has occurred before. We concluded that Orsinium is a much more well-known name in Elder Scrolls lore, so the DLC would sell better.

Very excited for the new story. Also hoping that the new dailies are worth repeating.

Very very hyped, trying to push my way to VR14 as we speak. Perhaps this is the dlc that will get me to max level for the first time since 1.3. But mostly it's about the lore, with this DLC we can explore (at least part of) the homeland of every race in tamriel and the orcs get some much needed love.

Yes, but I'm not putting that name here

I agree, I am very excited about the story. And hopefully I will get to finish the IC story too, once all the gankers decide it's time to go back to Cyrodiil.

Finally some proper complaining. Even mentioning other games that will be better but haven't even released yet from a developer that sometimes releases buggy games.

I look forward to the Arena and I think Im going to like how we can shape the zone by our choices, but Im slightly worried if theres repeatability or no.

Ive pre-ordered F4, theres 10 days to finish it! Im getting so much nostalgia from it, I remember the very first Fallouts as I was some brawler drug-addict. Epic times.

I have awesome news for you then - you don't have to wait, you can go on the PTS and submit all the bug reports your little heart desires right now! Yes, now! I already got a head start on it.

I am looking forward to playing this on live, even with the bugs. I'm glad the orcs are finally getting some story line love. Plus what's not to love about bears?

Looking forward to a new avenue of playing that gives me experience. I do not do Cadwell, but I am not high enough level for Craglorn, and am not really interested in dungeons. For me, Orsinium is the first new opportunity to collect experience while actually playing the game normally since launch.

I prefer to earn XP while doing other things. I will milk the 20 hours of new content for all it is worth as level up a couple of Veteran Rank characters that are not doing Cadwell.

I played IC while it was on PTS, but really, this is not my main area of interest. I like the gameplay ideas, with some reservations about choices they made, but nothing in Imperial City interests me as a player.
