Best build for ranged DPS, mainly for PVE?
Haven't played in a couple of months, looking to get back into this. I tried a sorcerer (Deltias, ignition build) and an archer nightblade. My sorcerer did a ton of damage, but in group dungeons I died a lot. My archer was a little more durable but I felt my damage wasn't that great. I want a build that will do well in high level group PVE but I don't have the coordination, to be a good tank or healer. I'd be better if shooting from a distance. What would be a good build for me?

✭✭✭✭✭Taking a look at Deltia's build, one of the problems I see is that he's not using Hardened Ward- which is a shield I find invaluable and has saved me a lot. He's also using two toggles just for the extra boost to Magicka I imagine, but I don't think it's necessary to have both. Further, Velocious Curse is a super-powered range ability that I wouldn't run as a Magicka Sorc without. Using Force Pulse with Crystal Frag procs along with Velocious Curse does a ton of damage along with dropping Liquid Lightning on already stationary mobs- or using Restraining Prison to keep them locked yourself- then blasting with Elemental Ring. You could also consider utilizing Structured Entropy from the Mages Guild line- it boosts your health and also restores health along with boosting spell damage.CP: 2130 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****
