My first time in Imperial City

It was... Interesting lol

Didn't see any player enemies but did meet a couple of wandering bosses. Also followed around some other groups and did a little NPC zerging lol but those other players wanted absolutely nothing to do with the wandering boss and it was hilarious XD

All in all a good first time. I did notice one thing though and I wish to bring it up:

In Cyrodiil players are nerfed to 50% everything or so to make PvP lengthy and so people can't get one-shotted so easily, if at all. However, this rule is not applied to NPCs. As a result it's hard to recover from what the NPCs can do since healing is so deadish and some Damage Shields are pretty much worthless. In fact, the entire Restoration Staff Skill Line is pretty much useless in IC! Possible exceptions are Combat Prayer for the Damage buff and Force Siphon but not holding my breath on the latter. Anyway I think Zenimax could probably apply the nerf to the NPCs too so that all is fair. Just my 2 cents though, feel free to disagree lol

    Hm usually I would say no because the bosses are intended to be tough.
    However, with Orsinium released we will see numbers of players drastically reduce in IC, thats what I think, can be wrong ofc.
    This will result in the bosses becoming harder to do, so maybe a little adjustment...but thats something we cant say yet, lets wait for 2 weeks after Orsiniums out.

    Tbh I thought Ic was really hard at the start. Now I can solo everything in there except banners and molag bal simulacrum lol.

    The Lich boss was taking off at least half my health with 1 shot. I think nerfing them as much as we are nerfed will not ruin the challenge lol

    There is nothing to reduce. It's a wonder to get a group in IC these days.

    The difficulty between bosses is huge. Some are easily soloable. Nunatak, the screeching matrone is citeable and this Harvester boss in Arboretum is candy if you only destroy the orbs she spawns every 2 mins or so (they have AoE resistance, so use single target)

    Basically all the bosses with adds can be really hard, with Baron Thirsk being the hardest boss by a large margin. Don't wanna say it's impossible, but almost impossible to solo him.

    I don't know if it was a bug but when I get killed by a walking boss I tend to be hit by the same ability twice, like a double tap. I will see the same ability 20K and 30K and be instantly dead. I would agree the walking bosses will need to be toned down when the next DLC comes out. Even now most people avoid and run from them.

    They are daedric generals, they should be somewhat frightening. This city is conquered by Daedra, who would take them serious if they were easy and weak ? They should increase the difficulty.

    The only change needed, is that Imperial city bosses finally grant the AP bonus that you get when killing foolish bosses in Cyrodiil caves. Would be really really cool if they gave this 20% AP bonus.

    I like how tough the npcs in IC are, feels like a challenge and it's some of the only mob-grinding I can tolerate. The banner bosses in the sewers can be done with 3-4 skilled players. The wandering bosses in the districts can be taken out by 2 sorcs with overload. I know this cos my brother and I have done it, while tanking an enemy dk. We felt it was less hassle to take on the boss while tanking the dk than the other way around. I can solo everything else except dolmens, and bosses with more than ~600hp. I wouldn't want them to nerf anything. The npcs make up for their difficulty by rewarding quite a lot of xp.

    Perhaps on your platform/server but not every platform/server combination is vacant.
