Faster way to level up for "Non-Grinders"?

Rushing in order to enjoy Endgame?
It's like buying a Book, rushing (even skipping) pages, and than enjoy the last two.

It can apparently be done through cadwell's silver and gold alone these days, sucks for those of us who levelled earlier though, since we're stuck with no quests and no way to level except for grinding.
Desperate for Roleplaying servers to bring open world non-organised RP to Elder Scrolls Online. Please ZOS.

So I'm the kind of person who hates grinding and would rather watch paint dry than grind, but it seems to be the only way to rank up remotely fast. I'm putting as much hours into the game if not more as the people who grind and I'm only vet 9. Some people can go from v1-14 in the space of 42 hours, I have over 500 hours into one character and I'm still v9. In my opinion they should make it so i make equavilent XP to those who grind, doing quests. I don't see why they can't? Since they are adding in the Catch-Up Mechanic, why not add in a Veteran Level Catch-up or some way for us "non-grinders" to be of equivalent XP gain to those who do grind?

The problem is that "grinders" will focus on activities based on the XP they give and will perform those activities in the most efficient way possible. Because to them they are a means to an end. So even if they upped the XP you get from questing, someone who is a "grinder" would just rush through as many quests as they could as quickly as they can and still get to V16 faster.

You are already V9. Unless you are in a guild that currently runs trials, you really don't need to rush. You can do Undaunted pledges, you can go to IC and you can go to Craglorn. And even for Trials, if the rest of your group is good, you could go at V9 as well.

If you focus on doing what you enjoy, leveling will come naturally and you will be at max level before you know it. Enjoy the view along the way. I got two characters to V16 that way and am working on some more.

grinders grind, i don't see how people thing "oh, hes a grinder so he must be farming players in cryodiil". grinders enjoy grinding, if they slam through quests so they can grind better, they will only effect you if you are in the grind area. same as questers, and PVPers.... questers like to quest, PVPers like to PVP. all hate it when they are "forced" into doing something outside those realms.
I will work. I will save. I will sacrifice. I will endure. I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the whole issue of the struggle depended on me alone.

What they should do is have every activity in game grant XP, that way those crazy achievement hunters and Lorebook hunters will also get XP for their interest in the game...there should be fishin xp, harvesting xp, lorebook XP, crafting Xp...everything XP...

I'm not rushing to endgame + what you said is irrelevant about buying a book and skipping to enjoy the last two... I have done more than experience what this game has to offer, I have completed Cadwells Silver and Gold, all I need to do is experience Trials, Endgame PvP, Engame Dungeons and the Thrill of getting all my new v16 gear. But the only way to do all that is by reaching endgame and I want to do it as soon as I possibly can WITHOUT grinding. (Note : this is directed at Tarum)

It's easier to hit v16 now. I had my first vet last July, and after the DLC patch, I'm now v16, no grinding. I got to v16 from v15 in literally 4 days, just doing pledges and trials, and quests in Craglorn, and some quests in Cadwell's Silver and Gold zones.

If the xp you get from grinding is the same as what you get from doing like one or two quests, then no one would be grinding. I'm with you though, I really dislike grinding. I have nothing against people who do, it's just not for me. I tried it once, it was fun and all, but I realized I like exploring more than just being in one place and killing the same stuff over and over again.
