Ashen grip has a 10% chance to breathe fire with melee attacks. Dunmer have more fire damage.
Has anyone tested a high vr stam dk build with ashen grip vs hundings rage? Does the higher weapon damage and weapon critical stomp on the free fire breathe from ashen grip, even as a dunmer?
Regarding cp, i plan to put 100 mighty and 47 elemental expert when i get near the cp cap.

✭The question you should ask yourself is not Hundings or Ashen, but Essence Thief or Twice Born Set (with shadow and Thief)0 -
hardcore_gmr✭✭✭Yeah the free fire damage is nice but a straight up weapon damage and crit build will improve your DPS by almost 1.5x the damage of a Ashen grip set. The added fire bonus from dunmer isn't enough to make up for high damage high crit. Also, until orsinium the extra fire damage only applies to spells. The tool tip specifically says fire damage spells. After orsinium it might be worth it, but you must also remember in PVP all dots get insta purged by players.0
